  • Excellent staff, morning snacks and coffee provided.
  • Bedrooms located near noisy hallway.

“Very good accommodations for the money.”

  • The parking area was patrolled by security guards. We had to change rooms because of a noisy guest and the guy at the check in desk was very helpful.

“It was very nice being right on the water. The rooms were clean and the parking area had security guards.”

  • Having a full kitchen was excellent, master bed was comfortable, lot of storage options.
  • Outdated decor, window in the master bed room faced the hallway and let light in all night long, carpets were old and there were roaches in the kitchen.

“The way the room was set up was great the kids loved the bunk beds built into the wall, but bring a sleeping blindfold if you plan on sleeping in the bedroom. Also, bring some roach spray!”

  • View of bay was great. Kitchen and bar were beautifullydecorated.
  • Double bed and broken elevator.

“Even though I had a deluxe room, the sleeping accomodations included only a double bed. In this day and age, I certainly expected a Queen or King. The resort itself was lovely but I do not expect that anyone I know would be happy with a double bed so I would not recommend it. The elevator nearest our room was broken the 3 days we were there and our room was on the 3rd floor so this was bad for older people.”

  • The view from the room was great out to the Old Bay.
  • The TV in the bedroom was pathetically small. Music from the outside grilling area was intrusive.

“The hotel was great!”

  • Location on the water.
  • Elevator broke-to many single guys just hanging out.

“Rooms need updated, make the hallways a little more appealing or colorful.”

  • Rooms faced to water.
  • Bedroom window faced corridor, no curtains on window, just blinds felt less private need sheets for sleeper sofa had go to desk to received them no e.

“Instead doors facing parking lot it face indoor wide hall people walking and talking up and down with bedroom facing hall with only a blind on window light shining in room all night felt if people could peek in only one elevator, inside rooms were nice with full kitchen, was not able to get extra pillows I need for sleep, sleeper sofa was not made up, we had to go to desk to get the sheet to make it up ourselves I think this is extended stay which I stayed in for a year but this one was only good for a night. The staff was friendly on day shift locked our luggage for since we arrived in early am check in was 3 pm.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[4] • Location:[5]

  • The location is on the waterfront.
  • The cleanliness and the disrepair.

“While the location is great, the hotel is in need of vast improvements to earn the rating they claim to have. I was shocked to open the door and see patches on the walls, cobwebs on the ceilings, dirt on the floors, etc. This is definitely not a 3- or 4-star hotel.”

  • The private balcony was wonderful and the view of Tampa Bay was great!

“The room was nice as well as clean. A beautiful view of Tampa Bay from a private balcony. Easy enough to get to attractions in the area. Staff was friendly.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[9] • Location:[5]

  • Staff was friendly.
  • Hotel was old, layout was awkward, rooms dark and in desperate need of updating.

“I stayed at this hotel because it was a three star and only a little more expensive than the two star hotels in the area. Since this was my boyfriend's and my first vacation in three years, I thought it would be good to pay the extra amount to stay in the nicer room. It was not nicer. I feel bad saying it because I'm sure the staff tries their best, but I felt like we were staying on the set of a hotel's horror movie. I was glad when we woke up with our torsos still attached to our bodies. The entry door of the suite opens directly to a long creepy corridor (with built-in bunk beds towards the end. Good for big families, I guess). The master bedroom is in the very front of the suite, the window is right up against the main hallway that guests walk through to get to their rooms (accessed exteriorly) room. The bathroom lighting was ridiculously dim, honestly laughable. The kitchen would be good for a big family or someone staying for a while because the appliances are all full size. Basically, the hotel seems like it was an old apartment complex badly remodeled into suites. Our room was awkwardly laid out and in desperate need of updating. It may have been clean, but the finishes and decor made it feel dirty. Staff was nice but I would still choose a Hampton Inn over the Sail port Waterfront Suites any day. Unless you are a big family with little children or have the desire to film a dark, creepy horror movie.”

  • It was clean and did have delivery pizza.
  • No restaurant within 1 mile. I went hungry the first day cab far was 20 one way.

“The hotel was not for a person that did not have ground transportation you needed the have supplies from a grocery store to eat. it was not fun.”

  • Great value! Nice room, nice location, great price! Covered parking!
  • Furniture could be a little newer, but was clean and in good repair.

“I was very pleased with Sailport. Great location, quiet rooms with a great view of Tampa Bay. Rooms were spacious, and had everything you need. Spacious living room, balcony, kitchen, large granite desk area, and private bedroom. I liked the covered parking, and felt very safe. I would definitely stay there again!”

  • Great location, not too far from Tampa into airport and 20 mins to clear water beach. Nice restaurants not too far away to downtown area.
  • Nothing at all wrong with it. Staff was nice and helpful.

“This hotel was perfect for what we needed. Tampa International Airport was close for the early flight of my girlfriends at 6 a.m. It was close for us to go to the beach and plenty of restaurants to choose from. The staff was nice and also 24hr security onsite. We plan on staying there again in the future. Always come here for my travel. I am very satisfied.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[8] • Location:[10]

  • Location and cleanliness.
  • The parking area.

“Was a very pleasant stay, nice views of the bay? The only two negatives was the parking was very cumbersome, tight spots and one way driveways so that you had to go around the whole building when coming and going and also the elevator was very slow and the only one for the building. Otherwise, I would highly recommend to others and will definitely be a spot to pick for future stays in Tampa.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[10]

  • It was spacious, with a kitchen, living room and separate bedroom.
  • Bedroom was small; if my wife had been with me she wouldn't have stayed. She gets claustrophobics.

“Clean and picturesque location. Furniture was clean and in good shape, but was a little dated.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[3] • Location:[8]

  • The view.
  • The smell and dirty carpet.

“The rooms have a very odd set up, the carpet was very dirty, the pull out sofa/bed was a mat that a dog would have trouble sleeping on, the room was very stuffy, and the A/C did not cool the place down; even at night. There were not enough pillows for the room and the room had a musty smell along with the card key not working properly. The selling point would be the view. P.S. If you blink an eye you will miss the entrance and the front desk is on the second floor.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • The location was really nice. We had a room by the water and the view was beautiful.
  • The appliances are outdated and need updating, most especially the dishwasher.

“It is a very nice hotel in a good location. I believe with a few minor updates it would be even better. I would stay there again.”
