• Very close to Water-parks.
• Staff did not want to be on the phone.

“Very nice and close to the local Water-parks. Lots of business and restaurants around. I would stay there again, if I got the same price on the room.”

• Allowed us to pre-register for our room.
• The mattress was very stiff and hard

“Overall, the hotel was good for the purpose of our need. It was located close to the place that we were visiting and was easily accessible. The room was very spacious and would have been a nice place to stay for a few nights.”

• The room was pretty big and it is in a great location to get to cedar point.
• The second day the maid service took all our towels and did not give us new ones. This was easily resolved by going to the front desk.

“For the price I paid for the room, I got my money worth. They have an indoor and outdoor which I like, as well as the free high speed internet access. The free continental breakfast was nice and better than other hotels I have stayed at.”

• I liked the location and staff friendliness. I liked the Jacuzzi tub in my room.
• The cover had burn holes and the hallways need a little touch up on paint.

• Staff friendly, great location, good price.
• Could use little work, towels threadbare, bathrooms need attention.

“This was a great hotel for the price and the location in relation to Cedar Point! Nothing fancy, but served our needs well. Was clean. The breakfast in the morning was kind of a mad house, but we were glad it was available. I would stay there again.”

• Locations--manager was professional.
• Not enough words aloud.

“Telephone not working in room (they did come up and look at it, said they would check it out but ever came back. I had a 20-month-old and a 2-1/2 yr old in the room with me--glad I didnt have an emergency) had to use my cell phone to call long distance to talk with them downstairs (TV not working, bathroom was very dirty, dust on wood work, coffee stains on comforters, AC vent so dirty we didn't want to touch, lamp shades stained. I called front desk and had them come up to the room and show them how dirty this was. I understand that this hotel is booked 2 weeks out a lot. People don't know what they are getting till they get there. Spoke with manger of house keeping. Not friendly at all, not good English, I understand that she is the owner. Wow. I will not use this hotel again.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent for the area we needed.
• The breakfast area was a little crowded, but the staff took care of it very well.

“The hotel was clean and had a friendly staff. We did not use the shuttle to go to cedar point as the times did not allow for us to return to hotel and go back. They have two really nice pools.”

• We enjoyed the swimming pools hours which allowed the kids to swim in the evening.
• House keeping did not replenish the towels after cleaning the room. We had to contact the front desk at 9pm.

“I have stayed at several Comfort Inns and have never had to call the front desk for towels. I choose this hotel because of my experience I had from previous stays with comfort inns. I never slept in such an uncomfortable bed. Several of the guest which I spoke with during my stay had the same complaint. As for breakfast they definitely need to have more waffle makers. If the business they have this made eating breakfast in a timely manner impossible. I understand with the business they have they can not serve the breakfast that the other comfort inns serve but by having more toasters, waffle makers this would of made things a little more accommodating.”

• One thing. Maybe the parking.
• Everything.

“This is the worst hotel ever stayed at, beds like a rock, room had cobwebs and mold on ceilings, restroom water spots all over everything, no coffee packs, cleaning staff lift window opened and air conditioner was turned down low as possibly, bed spread had blood on it, no ashtrays, internet service told they have but you have to have your own wireless connections, check out day early and that I wanted my money back for the 3rd day told me they can't give me my money back and they never said sorry or anything and other issues.”

“The hard bed and flat pillow really killed the visit. I thought the bed would be a little bigger, but it wasn't a bad thing. I like being close to my wife all night.”

• I liked the convenient location of the hotel. It was only a short drive to cedar point.
• I didn't like that our reservation was for a smoking room, the employees' bad attitude and unwillingness to help, and the room we got switched to.

“I would not recommend staying at this hotel to anyone. The employees either kept passing us off to someone else, or they were extremely rude. Not to my understanding, our reservation was for a 2 queen beds smoking room not what we booked and I am terribly allergic to smoke. We had to switch to the only room they had left, a king suite. The woman at the front desk had a terrible attitude, kept contradicting herself and telling me it wasn't the hotel's responsibility. Awful hotel.”

• Nice pools - indoor and out.
• No towels ever in room - hairs all over bed blanket.

“I would never go back there. We were placed in a second floor room and were not told there was no elevator. We loaded our entire luggage onto a cart, only to pull it through the main level door and unload it and carry up our bags to the second floor. Air conditioning didn't work in one of our two rooms. We were moved to a different room and our key card did not work on the second day - they had made a mistake when they moved our room. The hotel smelled musty - especially in the halls. We always had to ask for towels. The blankets on the beds were that acrylic material and were covered with hairs - yuk. The only positive thing I have to say is that both pools were nice - don't forget to take your own towel to the pools, though. None were provided. Apparently towels are a precious commodity at this hotel.”

“This hotel was okay for the price. Room needed some minor repairs and updates. Pool area was nice. Good location; very close to a variety of restaurants and stores. Close to Cedar Point.”

• Continental Breakfast.
• Bedding had stains and burns in spread. Pillows flat and lifeless.

“Would not ever stay here again. Even the price was high compared to higher end Hotels. Busy, noisy, and low end. I have stayed in higher end hotels for less money and better accommodations. Placed in a smoking room first and switch to another room that was said to be just remodeled. I would hate to see one that has not been remodeled. I spent many nights in Sandusky with other hotels and this one is by far the worst.”

• Inside pool and hot tub really need repair I was very disappointed!

• I was not happy with the conditions of this hotel at all.
• Nothing worked in this hotel.

“I had a very bad experience at the comfort inn Sandusky. It was dirty, the bedspread had holes in it and I burned my hand on the coffee pot that did not work.”

• The breakfast was good.
• Too many people in the pool area. Large groups overwhelmed us.

“The pool and amenities were nice; it would have been nice to have a few extra washer and dryers in the building. The bathrooms were fairly clean, and the beds were really hard. The staff was excellent always friendly and helped allot!”
