• Price.
• Roaches.

“While the stay was nice as was the staff the bed was too firm and there were a few live roaches. I was pleased with the price of everything though.”

• Location, in between Downtown Tampa and Clearwater Beach.
• Said pool was heated and it wasnt.

“Had a great time in Tampa and it was a decent hotel, the people in the hotel were good people and they helped out as much as possible.”

• Convenient location.
• We had roaches in our room, pluming was terrible!

“The hotel smelled badly like someone defecated in the corridor. The room was musty and full of roaches. The toilet made a strange noise and leaked profusely when flushed. When we spoke to the front desk clerk regarding these issues he brushed them off and blamed it (roaches) on some workers that were in room 215, stating they were cooking something. He made it seem like that is a normal occurrence having roaches running around. I went on to explain to him we do not have roaches where we live and were not use to this again he down played our complaint and the plumbing he stated there was some type of back up or something it was a very vague answer. We did not leave there because we did not want to lose our money that was paid for the room. We were planning on reporting this to the main office of super 8 motel. To see if we can get some type of compensation for our trouble. This is by far the worst experience we've had traveling. I would never recommend them to anyone ever!”

• The pool was closed.

“When we arrived at the hotel, we had to wait for 2 hours for the maid to get the room ready, there were other rooms already available but the clerk insisted on that one particular room, so we had to wait. The next day we went down to take a dip in the pool and it was closed due to repairs. We later found out that we could use the sleep inn pool that was close by, so we decided to do that. The sleep inn not more than a block away was a much nicer hotel, and it was very clean the pool was great! ”

• Nothing.
• This place was disgusting.

“Starting off the decorations was terrible and the room had a smell to it. We were on the first floor and the window wouldn't close. The bed was uncomfortable, the remote barely worked, and there were sketchy construction workers drinking beer outside at all hours. It's a 30 drive to a beach. The only upside is that it is a walk to a few restaurants and a gas station. The last morning we were there a roach was discovered in the bathroom. I would never go here again. I realize you get what you pay for but I believe this is a one star or less hotel. That needs to be changed.”

• Nothing it was so dirty I couldn't even sleep!
• Everything including the cockroaches!

“I would not stay here the bathroom had not been cleaned and still had toothpaste spit all over the taps I don't think that the sheets were changed I could wait till morning to get out. They offered the free breakfast but with the conditions of the rooms we waited till we got to the airport! Do not stay here!”
