• Convenience.
• Red carpet and how out dated the facilities was.

“If you are planning a short stay in this hotel is alright. But they need to update the rooms and some of the other facilities were kind of dirty.”

• The proximity to Cedar Point.
• It felt unused.

“This isn't by any means a luxury hotel. It is a cheap place to crash for the night on a trip to Cedar Point. The staff I encountered was friendly and the distance from Cedar Point was great. The room had a coffee maker, microwave, and mini-fridge which were handy. The room smelt old and musty and the building we were in was at one point in time a stand alone hotel that feels as though it isn't used much anymore. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a long stay, but for a short overnight to cedar point it worked well. The Jolly Donut, located in the motel, is a great affordable local diner serving breakfast. If you stay here, you must have breakfast there!”

• Absolutely nothing.
• The room was dirty, the air conditioner didn't work, the floors were not swept, the towels were hard and abrasive like sandpaper.

“It was disgusting from the lobby to the parking lot to the rooms. The air was broken, the coffee pot was broken the windows had no screens. The linens were filthy. Disgusting!”

• The room had air.
• Lobby was filthy, ice machine/hair dryer was not working, beds were uncomfortable, room smelled.

“We didn't even get that minimum of what I would expect - such as a clean room. I would not stay there again. Lobby was filthy, ice machine and hair dryer did not work. Beds were terribly uncomfortable and there were food crumbs in our room and it smelled. Good thing we brought the Febreeze and our own sheets.”

• The location and the price.
• Was not clean or safe.

“At the pool a girl stepped on broken glass and cut her foot. The staff was of no help. We went back to the room and when we pulled off the blankets the sheets and pillow cases were covered in long dark hair. We went to the office to get clean sheets, but the guy was on break and refused to help us. We went back later and a girl gave us new sheets and pillow cases. We had to remake the bed and then when we unfolded the new pillow cases there was still more hair in them. So we had to go back to the office a third time to get hair free pillow cases.”

• The bed was nice and firm and the room was large.
• The room has a unusable refrigerator and spider webs near the air conditioner.

“Upon entering the room I was hit with a overpowering deodorizer I put a fan in the window that had no screen. The refrigerator had not been defrosted in a very long time so I spent 3 hours getting it usable I had stuff to keep cold. There also was a large spider living in a corner next to the air conditioner needles to say I was disappointed I talked to the desk clerk he seemed unaware of what the cleaning staff did.”

• Our room had a refrigerator and a microwave.
• The air conditioner was noisy.

“This motel was an older motel but it was clean. I liked the wide hallway we had outside of our room and that we had a refrigerator and microwave in our room. The express breakfast would have been nicer if it had some more choices.”

• We had a refrigerator, coffee pot and a microwave.
• Bugs, moldy showers, musty smell, spider webs all over.

“Our first room was not cleaned from the previous guests. We were greeted by a centipede in our second room followed by a musty odor throughout the room. The carpet was dirty and the shower was moldy.”

• It was close to attractions.
• It was very dirty. The room had mold and the pool water was gray.

“We took one look inside the room and decided to stay elsewhere. There was mold on the walls of the room and bathroom. It smelled terrible and the bedding had not been changed. We took a sample of water from the hotel pool and found it contained very dangerous substances. This is the worst hotel I have ever seen.”

• The price was cheaper then everywhere else.
• Musty smell in room, no wash cloths or Kleenex.

“Just an ok place if you are on a budget. I didn't expect much or get much. The frustrating part had to hunt down wash cloths for both days we were there. It is close to Cedar Point.”

• The vending machine and ice machine area was dirty, room smelled.

“We didn't have hot water 1st thing in am and we were upset. After room service cleaned our rooms on Sat. while we were at cedar point they didn't replace towels in 2 rooms no toilet paper and didn't lock one of our doors it was cracked when we got back. We alerted management right away cause it was dark when we returned. Overall ok to stay if you are on a budget right on the strip for groceries, food, staff was friendly. Hotel just needs some upgrades we were only in our rooms to sleep and wash up.”

“Although the hotel is generally old and in need of renovation, it's location is perfect for local activities. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and the staff was very nice. It would be nice if upgrades can be made to the facility.”

• It was very close to the theme park we were going to.
• The room was just plain dirty. Very unsanitary.

“I think the price was too much for this hotel. The staff was nice even though it took them some time to check in but the room was just very old and out dated. The sheets had to be changed before we even slept because they were still dirty. The whole room was way too dirty for us to ever stay there again.”
