• The staff was very friendly.
• Hotel room was run down, no ironing board, not up to standards.

“They need to shut this hotel down and redo the decor and change carpets. My door had issues opening and shutting. The hotel smelled like musty smoke even in the non-smoking areas.”

• Convenient location to Ironton, decent continental breakfast, non-smoking was nice.

“We stayed here while traveling to Ironton, OH. It was just a short drive back and forth to the hotel. The staff was friendly, the rooms were nice (very nice bathrooms), and the free continental breakfast got us up and moving the next day. We didn't bring our dog, but the hotel is pet friendly; so, maybe next time. The non-smoking rooms were nice too, as they didn't smell like ashtrays. Sadly, we didn't get a chance to hit the pool, but it looked nice, especially with the hot weather we were having.”

“This was a great hotel. I left my purse in the hotel room and it was found and sent to me and everything was still in side. This could have been a really bad experience for me but it turned out just fine.”

• Got along with other guests we met at the pool.
• We did not like the ants in our room.

“We found that the sign "now hiring housekeeping" was a big cry for help. With the infiltration of ants we encountered in our room and the extreme amount of cigarette butts in the yard on the way to the pool we felt uncomfortable. When using the laundry service the dryer would not work. We thought the breakfast was okay but then stayed at another Days Inn that was much nicer, better food, more variety and the coffee never ran out.”

• Convenient location and good continental breakfast bar.
• The initial room, the manager tried to put me in smelled room and needed room cleaned or stains removed.

“A good location and clean breakfast area. The room was nice after first objecting to placement in a room stained.”

• The staff informed me of a safer place to smoke.
• There was so much I need more then twenty words.

“This hotel was not a 2 star hotel. The hotels located in the same price range were far cleaner then this hotel. I had dirty linens, dirty bathtub, and dirty carpet. The hotel was non smoking, but smoking was going on in the hotel. I had to go and purchase my own cleaning products to clean my room before I could be comfortable. I was so dissatisfied that I called in a complaint with the corporate office.”

• The desk attendant the morning we checked out was friendly and helpful.
• We had to wait several minutes for the desk attendant to check us in the night we arrived.

“When we arrived, the lobby was full of people smoking and drinking. The smoke was almost overwhelming. The desk attendant took a while to notice us and a while to come check us in. The next morning, the desk attendant was friendly and helpful and lent me a pair of scissors so I could finish wrapping my presents. On the whole, it was a decent hotel at a decent price.”

• The staff was very nice.
• The room was dirty. The bathroom floor grout was black with dirt. There was chewing gum on the headboard and a pistachio nut under the sheets!

“The staff was very nice. The room was not very clean. The location was described as Ashland but it was actually in cannons berg. I will not be staying there again.”

• The breakfast was open late.
• The service wasn't the best.

“A little run down but livable. This is a bit above a budget hotel but not too much. It was ok just to sleep and go but we weren't going to spend more than one night. I would say a family on a budget or seniors would benefit the most at this hotel.”

• That I left.
• Billed me and a smoking room.

“I was assigned a smoking room that was quite rank. Overall, I was quite disappointed. I have stayed in Ashland twice before and was quite happy with my stays, they were not with Days Inn. I do not want to stay at Days Inn again and will probably book with other hotels directly to keep from getting this experience again.”

• Clean.
• The lobby and stairs was very dirty, but because of the type of people staying there. Construction workers.

• The staff was very helpful when it came to, places to eat, stores.

“The town is very small, but if you are only looking for someplace to stay then its wonderful. The correctional facility is located just 3-4 minutes away. It is a very nice hotel.”

• Location.
• They said they had high speed internet in each room but it did not work in my room and they could not do anything about it.

“The hotel was clean but older and had two floors that had only stairs to lug up luggage and as i said though they advertised high speed internet it did not work in my room and the young lady at the desk did not have a clue as to how to help me get online and one of the reasons i pick this hotel was because of the internet so in fact i was very disapointed.”
