“I was pleasantly surprised with the Plaza Beach. It had that Old Florida feel to it, which ended up being quite charming. The location was awesome - I mean, it was on the beach! The Plaza Beach is not a 5 Star Luxury Hotel - if that's what one is looking for, go else where. The Plaza Beach is a great place to stay if you are looking for easy access to area attractions. I 275 is just around the corner, which is a main artery to the Tampa/St. Pete/Sarasota attraction areas. I would definitely return for an extended beach stay to this hotel. The efficiency kitchen would afford one the ability to vacation not only on a budget, but with the convenience of being right on the beach.”

“We had a great experience. Good accommodations, nice people. We felt very safe here and no crime. It was nice to be able to just go out our door and be at the beach. Quiet at night. Overall we had a great experience.”

“My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful honeymoon here at the Plaza Beach Resort. We walked the beach every day and collected tons of shells! Our beachfront room had a private balcony where we enjoyed the most picture perfect sunset every evening. The people that work here are very pleasant and really did everything they could to make our stay here perfect. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“We stayed at the Plaza Beach Hotel on St Pete Beach from July 28 -Aug.4.2008. This was probably one of our top three best vacations ever, everyone had some much fun and nobody wanted to leave. This was the first time we stayed on the west coast of Florida, normally our family stays in Daytona Beach. We were not disappointed. Plaza Beach is located next to a shopping center with a grocery store, lots of shopping and many restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean, our room was a deluxe efficiency and the setup is a large apartment room with a kitchen, two beds and a sleeper sofa. You also have a large TV and free DVD's in the office. Location was perfect with the property being directly on the beach which we really enjoyed. However we did a lot of sightseeing: We visit Fort Desoto state park, took the ferry Egmont Key island, the Salvador Dali museum, the downtown Pier, Baywalk Shopping, Johns Pass Fishing Village, we even went to two baseball games to watch the Tampa Bay Rays beat the Detroit Tigers. There's was so much to do but as always never enough time. We hope to come back to St Pete Beach next year and we will definitely stay at the Plaza Beach Resort.”

“Exactly what we have been looking for! Being that this was our first trip to sty Pete beach, we turned to the internet for our research and finally made reservations directly with the hotel at www.plazabeach.com. Our search criteria were to find a hotel no larger than three floors, directly on the beach, pool, internet access and most importantly clean. We do not like the large hotels where you have to walk through the lobby, pass the gift shop, and pass a wedding party, just to get to the beach. The plaza beach resort was perfect; it met our criteria and more. We were pleasantly surprised to have found that our room had a full kitchen, very spacious with two beds and a sofa. The bathroom was a little small but it was well laid out. We had an oversized sized TV in our room with DVD player with free movies from the front desk. The pool and pool area was large, there were plenty of lounge chairs for everyone. The hotel does offer free cabaņa on the beach which was a nice touch. What was really nice was that the wireless internet reached the cabaņas on the beach, so I was able to do work from my laptop on the beach. So would I recommend this property to you, definitely yes? It simple, clean and not expensive and has everything you need.”
