“Great romantic stay. Wanted a hotel on the beach and close to the Tropicana. We had tickets to a Rays Yankees game. Staff was great and the beach was wonderful.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[6] • Location:[8]

  • Close to beach.
  • Some of the rooms need to be refurbished. Having to pay for parking, and cabana's on the beach, way to expensive. Not worth $15 a day.

“This hotel is close to the beach and is a good value for the dollar. Some rooms need new bathroom fixtures, we stayed on Aug 28 and 29, room was comfortable but there is better there. We stayed on Sept 3rd and had a kitchenette with a balcony and fantastic view of the gulf. The bathroom was a lot bigger and the fixtures were a lot newer. I will definitely stay again.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[7] • Location:[10]

  • Great location in the heart of St. Pete Beach, directly on beach.
  • Dirty, small, room that needs updating beyond the decor.

“$8 parking fee. Great location and the older public area have been updated. The rooms decor has been updated, but they need to be remodeled. Beyond that we found the bathroom in disrepair and dirty. Very strong offensive smell in the room.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[4] • Location:[10]

  • I felt terrible.
  • Hotel was dirty. I even took pictures. Maybe it was a good one but right now seems deteriorated.

“As soon as we got in the room we realized the floor of the bathroom was stinky full of mold and dew. I told the manager next morning and she said she would take care of it. Honestly it remained the same. Please find a way to ask some of your hotels to assign clean rooms to your customers. Same thing happened to us at the Wyndham of international drive in Orlando. If so let us know so next time we look for a hotel room we can make a better decision not using your services.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • When we complained they changed our room.
  • I was locked in bathroom 15 minutes in 1st room and roaches and smell.

“They are gutting the building where we 1st stayed it was awful and unless you complained you weren't moved to another room. You even smelled like the room. I was locked in the bathroom for 15 minutes and couldn't get out until someone came back into the room. Roaches broken AC etc. We were moved to a nice room as soon as we complained.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[4] • Location:[9]

  • Nothing.
  • Layout was confusing.

“We arrived after dark. The complex consists of a number of buildings. It took us 20 minutes to locate our room, because the persons giving us directions failed to tell us there were different banks of elevators. We had to walk past a bar where there were several loud drunken women. They charged us $8.00 to park out car.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[7] • Location:[10]

  • Location on the gulf.
  • Charging for parking.

“Restaurant was great where we stayed. The room looked like a fancy motel room converted. The charge to park was 8.00 I think that is a bit crazy. We overlooked the parking lot, unable to see the water.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • I was only there for one night, but the front desk person upgraded me to a beach front room with no extra charge and gave me a late checkout.
  • The restaurant we had lunch in did not have very good food and was overpriced.

“Beautiful property, nice room, great location right on the beach with three pools. Good service. I will stay there again.”

  • The resort was perfect for a beach weekend. Clean and comfortable.
  • The bathroom was a bit small, but it did not ruin the room!

“Hotel was clean and comfortable. Very close to wonderful dining! Make sure you try the Bistro (in plaza with big steak restaurant) kind of across the street. Also there was an O Bistro up the road about ten minutes that had fabulous breakfast. The Compass Grille (right in the resort) was perfect with unique twists on meals. We will be returning!”

  • Nice pools and beach access.
  • Hotel is old, bathroom is small, and you pay to park.

“The hotel is nice, family oriented, and staff is friendly. The location is great and beach was easily accessible. The room was clean but bathroom was very tiny and there is a daily charge to park at the hotel.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[8] • Location:[10]

  • We really liked the excellent location on the beach, as well as the 3 pools.
  • The air vents in our suite were so dirty and caked with dust. They could be accessed easily, so we can't understand why they wouldn't be cleaned.

“The Sirata's location on the beach, the 3 pools and the beach bars with music made this resort great. We found the 2 different queen suites that we stayed in to be quite comfortable, though the suite in building 4 was older and it wasn't as clean as our room in building 1. We would have loved a coffee bar of some type. We definitely would return.”

  • Great location, spacious room, clean, liked the hammocks and pool bar.
  • That you had to pay to park.

“Nice, clean, spacious, well decorated rooms. Beautiful courtyard. Good view of the gulf. 2 nice pools. Atmosphere with the covered picnic tables and the hammocks and a poolside bar. Would stay at again.”

  • It was awesome to walk right on t the Gulf from our hotel.
  • You were charged for anything that was extra, using the business center for internet, playing pool.

“The hotel was situated right on the Gulf. It was wonderful to walk right on to the sandy beach from the pool area. The food wasn't as good as I have had at Clearwater Beach, but the view made up for it.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[10]

  • Location, location, location. The beaches were beautiful and they gave us a beachfront room.
  • The beds were uncomfortable and bathroom way too small.

“The location of this hotel, which was right on St. Pete Beach, was awesome! There were several restaurants close-by, some within walking distance. If you're looking for a nice hotel on St. Pete Beach, this is it.”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[8] • Location:[9]

  • 3 nice pools and great beach location.
  • Rooms were very dated and old.

“The hotel could easily be a 3 star with much cleaner facilities. They need to do some major renovation on the quality and cleanliness of the rooms though to be a 3 star.”

  • The hotel has several buildings and pools, so one does not feel crowded.
  • The bathroom was not updated.

“The Sirata is a great beach resort in a wonderful location, St. Petersburg. It is family friendly, yet large enough that one does not feel crowded. The rooms are nicely furnished and a small refrigerator is provided. It is centrally located and convenient to shopping and restaurants. I enjoyed my stay.”
