  • The lobby staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was better than expected.
  • Our room was humid and smelled like mildew.

“I don't know if all rooms were bad, but our room was not very comfortable. It was clean, but the sheets were worn out and the humid air made it uncomfortable.”

  • Great location, next to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Lots to do!
  • Nothing

“Hotel was much nicer than what was pictured on the internet. Room had a refrigerator, microwave and range which is excellent for travelers with young kids.”

  • Size of pool area and size of room. The view!
  • Hated the food. Cost way to much for poor quality!

“Loved everything about the resort except the food. Great room, great view. Liked the inside and outside bars. Great service. Horrible food. They should have payed us to eat it. Payed $50 for me and my wife for dinner. Ive eaten better at Burger king of $4!”

  • Location both on the beach and near restaurants.
  • Extras were extras and not included. Phone, parking, beech Cabana.

“Great value , great location, great rooms. Only the fact that the cost of phone calls, even without connections, parking, beach chairs, were pricey and unexpected. Still overall value was great.”

  • Nice hotel and close to the beach! Great for families.
  • The food at the resort was kind of expensive.

“The hotel was in a great location and easy to find. We loved the 3 pools, swingset on the beach and hammocks. The large fridge and stove in the room was nice to have.”

  • Right on the beach!
  • The cabanas were way over-priced. $15/day is outrageous.

“The staff was very welcoming and attentive. Only stayed for 1 night and next day. Food in the Compass Restaurant was very good. But the cabanas on the beach were priced at $15/day. Outrageous! We laid out on beach towels for free.”

  • Great access to the beach and restaurants.
  • It was a surprise that we had to pay for parking. The bathroom was very close to the bed.

“The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean and big.”

  • Good location.
  • I did not like my room.

“The room was in dire need of updating. I had no window and the resort charged me a $25 resort fee which included amenities that I did not have time to even use. The location was great but I felt like this hotel was over priced and stuck in the 90's.”

  • Great location, fun pool and outdoor bar/restaurant, well maintained.
  • Upon check-in very busy had to wait a while.

“Very nice facility with two pools, and two bars.”

  • Beach and bar by the pool - great restaurant.
  • Actually nothing - it was great.

“A friend and I decided to drive 10 hours just to be able to sit on the sand for one day. I had been to this area before but had heard of this hotel. It was great and I would definitely return. There was nothing that I would change about it. Weather was great - room was roomy and clean and food at outside bar was delicious along with great music. The beach was excellent! Wish we could have stayed longer! We will return!”

  • Beach access, pool, hot tub, view, service, location.
  • Bathroom a bit small.

“Great romantic stay. Wanted a hotel on the beach and close to the Tropicana. We had tickets to a Rays Yankees game. Staff was great and the beach was wonderful.”

  • Close to beach.
  • Some of the rooms need to be refurbished. Having to pay for parking, and cabana's on the beach, way to expensive. Not worth $15 a day.

“This hotel is close to the beach and is a good value for the dollar. Some rooms need new bathroom fixtures, we stayed on Aug 28 and 29, room was comfortable but there is better there. We stayed on Sept 3rd and had a kitchenette with a balcony and fantastic view of the gulf. The bathroom was a lot bigger and the fixtures were a lot newer. I will definitely stay again.”

  • Great location in the heart of St. Pete Beach, directly on beach.
  • Dirty, small, room that needs updating beyond the decor.

“$8 parking fee. Great location and the older public area have been updated. The rooms decor has been updated, but they need to be remodeled. Beyond that we found the bathroom in disrepair and dirty. Very strong offensive smell in the room.”

  • I felt terrible.
  • Hotel was dirty. I even took pictures. Maybe it was a good one but right now seems deteriorated.

“As soon as we got in the room we realized the floor of the bathroom was stinky full of mold and dew. I told the manager next morning and she said she would take care of it. Honestly it remained the same. Please find a way to ask some of your hotels to assign clean rooms to your customers. Same thing happened to us at the Wyndham of international drive in Orlando. If so let us know so next time we look for a hotel room we can make a better decision not using your services.”

  • When we complained they changed our room.
  • I was locked in bathroom 15 minutes in 1st room and roaches and smell.

“They are gutting the building where we 1st stayed it was awful and unless you complained you weren't moved to another room. You even smelled like the room. I was locked in the bathroom for 15 minutes and couldn't get out until someone came back into the room. Roaches broken AC etc. We were moved to a nice room as soon as we complained.”

  • Great beach location.

“I and my girlfriend had a great time. I would definitely go back. The beds were a little hard for my taste.”

  • Nothing.
  • Layout was confusing.

“We arrived after dark. The complex consists of a number of buildings. It took us 20 minutes to locate our room, because the persons giving us directions failed to tell us there were different banks of elevators. We had to walk past a bar where there were several loud drunken women. They charged us $8.00 to park out car.”

  • Location on the gulf.
  • Charging for parking.

“Restaurant was great where we stayed. The room looked like a fancy motel room converted. The charge to park was 8.00 I think that is a bit crazy. We overlooked the parking lot, unable to see the water.”
