  • Great for the family and Treasure Island location.
  • No walking distance to restaurants for late night hours.

“We loved the beach front location especially called Treasure Island. Our room had a tropical theme with a balcony overlooking the Gulf and had granite all over from the mini kitchen to the tub wall. My kids enjoyed the flat screen watching their Nick cartoons. We spent most of our time on the beach and watching the sun go down. By that time we looked for any restaurants that were open and couldn't find one. There was a bar across the street and thought they served food, but they refused to take my kids. So we drove around and nothing was open except for a grocery store a few miles down. Our overall experience was excellent! We will definitely go back and next time to be prepared with groceries since the kitchen was fully equipped with their own cookware, plates, and utensils.”

  • It was right on the beach and everyone was very helpful and friendly.
  • There wasn't anything I didn't like.

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Bilmar Beach Resort. The room was beautifully decorated and met all my needs. It had a balcony that I could sit on and watches the sunset at night and the daybreak in the morning. The staff was efficient and friendly. All in all, a very pleasant experience. I will definitely return another time.”

  • Great staff.
  • Needed some more updating.

“Staff was so good to us from the front desk to the maids. One room was not ready, had to wait a few hours and the bedding needed to be updated. Sloppy Joes meals fair only good for appetizers. Couldn't get a decent margarita. Loved location and area if you don't want to be overcrowded. A little pricey.”

  • Nice beach access and balcony with beach view.
  • We weren't given any beach towels or chairs even if there were any.

“Its a nice hotel with a good view of the beach. They were fully booked, so they gave us the Show room which had balcony and view of the beach. Sloppy Joe restaurant is on premise. There is a nice German restaurant within walking distance. Beach has white sands as promised and water was warm.”

  • Location, staff, pools, rooms, beach.
  • Check for ants.

“Stayed at the Bilmar 12 August 2007 for 7 nights after a hectic week in Orlando. Very relaxing week. Food in Sloppy Joe's good, but only had one meal there. Bazzy's Bar is good for breakfast and cocktails and evening and day time entertainment, singers, bands, karaoke. Fantastic beach, clean warm sea and almost empty. Scully's Restaurant on the John's Pass Boardwalk is highly recommended, we ate there three times and the steaks and seafood are great. We had a problem with ants in room where the window frame was not properly sealed and the ants got in and traveled around the room. We complained to the desk and were immediately moved to a was antfree room. Apart from that, our stay was very good, staff all very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone especially families and would happily stay here again.”

  • Clean, friendly, excellent value for money.
  • Noisy outside the room early morning - you can't sleep in!

“This hotel met and exceeded all of my expectations. The location was beautiful, tropical feeling almost. We felt safe and valued being there. The staff (and locals) was friendly; the food in the hotel was quickly and politely served, tasted great and for the huge portion sizes was very reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially in reception and buzzes bar. The room was comfortably large, very clean, had a nice TV and free wireless internet use - essential for contacting home. I will definitely be returning to this hotel and would recommend it to any visitors to the area.”

  • On the beach new TV beds.
  • Beds hard as a rock not made for family "good for just drinking and passing out¿ spring break rooms did not get dark.

“If I was in collage again and I just wanted to drink and pass out and have fun on the beach this would be perfect not made for a family very disappointed. ”

  • The room was clean, the staff was very helpful and personable; the location was very safe; nice heated pool for collar outside temps.; beautiful beach.
  • I really liked everything about this hotel, but it could use an outdoor hot tub.

“I traveled solo, first time without my husband, family, or friends, so I felt a little leery for my safety, but I heard how safe the area was. The room was spacious and clean. I had a t, stove, and frig. I loved it! The front office, waiters/waitresses, bartenders, housekeeping, and security were all helpful and kind. I would definitely return! The restaurant opens up to a clean beach and one could sit and enjoy cocktails. The Belmar was close to everything -- beach, salons, Walgreen¿s, gift shops, great restaurants, john's pass, and the seacoast bird sanctuary. I thought that this hotel was great for families, couples, business travelers, and groups. I would like to see some entertainment. There was a Dixieland jazz band that was great. They should have them there more often. Again, loved the place, but it's not for the young, spring break crowd, thank goodness!”
