“Its OK, just OK. The staff were friendly, but not readily available. I found it inconvenient that there was no elevator. It is nothing to go to a romantic weekend for, but if you need something inexpensive and conveniently located to get you through a business trip or short social stay, this is the place for you.”

“This hotel seemed to be a place that people leave and pay weekly. It did not feel safe to me. The place smelled like smoke through out. No attendant when we checked in which further lead to no feeling safe. I would not stay at this hotel again even if it were free.”

“Checking in on a hot summer night, I was expecting the room to be somewhat stuffy and hot. However the room was uncomfortably hot well into the early morning hours. It would have helped had the staff turned at least a fan on a few hours a day to try to help alleviate the very hot conditions. Since there was nothing on, the room was stifling hot and remained so well into the early morning hours. Perhaps the air conditioner was not powerful enough to effectively cool the entire room. The room was nice and spacious; in any case it was most uncomfortable!”

“Nice hotel, quiet, convenient, with a Kitchen as the best convenience. Please unlock all the windows in your hotels.”

“The hotel was situated next to a gentlemen's club, and many of the surrounding businesses had bars on the windows and doors. I didn't feel safe driving to the hotel, but the hotel itself was fine. It wasn't classy or high on any amenities, but it provided a bed for the night. I wouldn't stay again if I had the choice.”

“Overall, it was a nice stay. The kitchen facilities were adequate and even had a full stove which we used for dinner and breakfast. Disappointed that hotel didn't have ice machine available and ice trays in freezer were empty. Staff was friendly and helpful. The remote didn't work upon arrival but the staff quickly remedied the situation and the TV had very few stations. The hotel had been remodeled at some point, it had an old feel about it, even though, it was clean and well stocked with everything we generally needed.”

“The room was not clean, showed a lot of "wear". The normal amenities were not found (i.e., shampoo, enough waste baskets, free wireless, etc). In an effort to cover up old, musty smells some sort of over the top air freshener was used. The hotel was so below my expectations that I opted to stay for only one night even though I paid for two.”

“When we arrived late, the security guard was extremely friendly as I did not know we would not be greeted at the desk and I had to get my key out of a lock box. The room was small but okay. Bathroom door did not close. Didnt feel secure as the back door we used to enter had a rock in it to keep it open. Had no idea who wanted to slip in without a key.”

“With the kitchenette it would be great for a person/couple to stay for an extended period of time and save money by fixing food in their room instead of dining out every meal.”

“The ESA Columbus met our needs, an affordable, clean place to get some sleep. They have a late arrival procedure that I did not like. The shower did not work in our room.”

“Located in seedy party of suburbs near several strip bars, building is well worn and needs remodeling. Virtually no amenities other than a pool. No lounge, no breakfast bar, and one bar of soap (no shampoo or anything else).”

“I was not pleased at all. 3 floors, no elevator. Walked into the room the cover was up on the bed. TV was a small 13 inch. TV remote did not work. Went in the bathroom and killed a spider on the floor. No cups for rinsing at the sink. Mirror was stained with a black gunk. Called the front office and asked for a wake up call - the person said they don't do that and I had an alarm clock in the room. I will not try a 1 star hotel again.”

“This was a great room for the price that I paid. The front staff person went above and beyond with every request that I had. The room was like a fully equipped studio apartment that met my needs completely. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.”

“There was only a queen size bed available. We are two senior business travelers and a queen size bed is difficult. The room is not cleaned each day and towels are not renewed.”

“No ice machine, room temp was over 90 degrees when we checked in took 3 hours to cool. It was a very hot day but the room was left with no air on even though we called and informed them we would arrive after 9PM.”
