• Interior facing balconies; looking down onto an indoor pool and gazebo area.
• No refrigerators in rooms.

“Overall the Ramada was a very pleasant stay. The layout of the hotel is very unique and hotel staff is always accommodating. The rooms sleep well with pillow top mattresses, but note that there are not refrigerators in every room. Overall a very nice place to stay.”

• Great breakfast bar! For king size room, clean and nice layout.
• Bed uncomfortable, don't like window looking into center of hotel and pool, parking hard and couldn't find side entrance.

“If your staying one night, its ok, but room was kind of old and the king bed a little hard. Breakfast bar is definitely worth the stay too! But my window faced the inside of hotel and pool and parking was far away and couldn't find side entrance. Restaurant next door had good food but they allowed smoking and it stunk!”

• Rooms face indoor pool area which was noisy.

“This is an older hotel, but has been maintained well. The room was large and included a mini fridge and microwave. I was very pleased with the hotel based on its star rating.”

• 12:00 checkout was good.
• VERY DATED. Bathroom was filthy. Toilet didn't want to flush.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The carpets were stretched out of shape. The bathrooms were filthy and the bed linens smelled stale.”

• Staff was willing to move us to another room to be closer to our traveling companions.
• Even though it's in a smaller town, it was hard to find at night.

“I did not like this hotel. Do not stay here if you are a disabled person. I traveled to Clemson, SC with some friends for a concert, and we booked 2 adjoining rooms for 1 night. One room was a handicapped accessible room, and the other one was normal. The hallways in the hotel are not well lit, and neither are the rooms. There could have been more space in the handicapped accessible room, but the bathroom was nice and big. When we arrived back to the hotel from our concert, we saw that someone had parked in our handicapped parking spot which we had paid extra money to have. We went to the front desk, and told the guy what had happened and he was very rude. He actually laughed and shrugged it off like it was nothing. He said that there was a big party going on at the hotel and there was nothing he could do about the parking. We went back to our hotel rooms, and all throughout the night it was very noisy with people yelling and laughing. I do not recommend anyone staying here; overall it was a pretty bad experience for us.”

• Got my family members a room.
• The room didn't have a refrigerator or microwave and the light in the bathroom didn't work at all&

“Very friendly but the hotel needed some touch up, the hotel was very noisy and the furniture was broke. The hot tub was broke.”

• The breakfast set up was wonderful. Also we requested a refrigerator and they bought it along with a microwave about 10 minutes after the request.

“The hotel was in a great location for me. We were close to restaurants. It was easy to get around the city. We did not need the GPS system as much.”

“This was a very nice and comfortable stay. They provided appetizers on Monday through Thursday nights along with beer and wine.”

“The hotel is older but they try to maintain it. The smell was strong as we arrived but got somewhat better overnight. For our purposes, a college visit, only overnight, it was fine.”

• The location -Clemson- perfect for collecting students.
• Atrium needs remodeling -either get rid of pool/Jacuzzi or improve. Air quality in atrium needs update.

“Hotel facility is older and probably in line for renovation. It is basic but convenient to Clemson for college delivery and pick up. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Do not eat. Wish the restaurant was better, also basic but the choices for dining are few.”

• Terrible beds, old and poor construction and no toilet paper in room.

“Would not recommend for travel. Front desk personnel didn't know where my room was located. Got to hotel at 3 AM and no toilet paper in room. Beds are old saggy and hard.”

• Maid service was excellent.
• Hot tub was out of order, pool dirty, locked out of room and hotel 3 times w/ issued key.

“I booked this hotel mainly for the leisure swimming and hot tub plus its scale 3 rating. Was very disappointed in the fact the hot tub was out of service and we saw toilet paper particles in the swimming pool, yuck. Locked out of our room a few times and hotel. Our maid Candy though gave us the most friendly service and exceptionally clean room. She should be tipped but I was scared someone else would get it so didn't. Overall the hotel was very clean other than what I stated.”

• It has an indoor pool.
• It is a little more run-down than I would like.

“Overall, I am pleased with this hotel. I probably would not have been if I had paid the full rate that the hotel charges. It is old, not maintained as well as it could be, and the indoor pool although, is supposed to be heated, was very cold. So cold that my children didn't want to get in.”
