• The location was convenient for our planned activities.
• The service was horrible.

“I'm extremely happy. The room had a run-down appearance and the clerks did not have a clue. I requested a roll-away bed only, to be told that they did not know were they were stored. I later found them in an adjacent room to where the employees spent the majority of their time on a computer. The bed did not fit in the room so I ended up using just the mattress and laying it on the floor. Beware!”

• Staff was very helpful.
• Breakfast ended at 9 on weekdays.

“The staff was very friendly and helpful during my stay. I stayed at this hotel for a week in February. Everything was great! Housekeeping always went out of their way to help me and the front desk made sure that I received all of my messages. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.”

• It felt clean and was good value for the price I paid.
• There was so much chlorine in the towels and very strong cleaning supplies that bothered me.

“I was in the area for 14 days and spent part of my time at the Bay Mont and at the Extended Stay across the street. In comparison I liked the Extended Stay better. The layout of the room I liked better and it had much better internet access. I will stay at ES on my next visit.”

• Looked like a few working girls and a guy living there hanging out in lobby.

• Staff was not responsive.

“This hotel is definitely a one star hotel. TV was in horrible condition. There was no alarm clock in my room. I had to call 3 times to the front desk to ask for a clock. Then after they were not responsive I had to go down to the front desk to retrieve the clock myself. The most important thing about the room, the bed, was uncomfortable and sagging in the middle. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I stayed here to go to William Beaumont Hospital and broadened my area to get a "two star" hotel.”

• Nice staff. Close too many restaurants & shops.
• Room a little dated.

“I stayed here during the week for a few days. The hotel was slightly dated in the rooms, but the staff was very nice, and the hotel was clean. The continental breakfast was decent too.”

• Breakfast was diverse and had healthy selections.
• Our room was not ready we were moved to another room that had about 10 people in the room across the hall. First niter was noisy.

• Smelled, dirty, beds collapsed in u-shape, will not be back.

• The staff was friendly and courteous and helpful.
• The bathtub was not clean.

“If you are looking for a place to hang your hat for a day or so then this is the place. I would not recommend it to vacationers or as a romantic getaway though it is comfortable. The complimentary continental breakfast was a nice touch. The staff was helpful, kind, courteous and respectful. It met my needs but I would have rather stayed in a higher rating hotel.”

• Leaving the hotel.
• FedEx shipped in to the hotel in advance was stolen.

“Our office sent a FedEx to this office for the business trip. It was signed for then a member of the hotel staff was involved in stealing the FedEx shipment. Management was able to recover some of the materials after much grief.”

• This hotel was located very near shopping and restaurants.
• This hotel was older and could use some remodeling in the guest rooms and hallways.

• My room was filthy and had a terrible musty odor. It was disgusting.

“I have normally had good luck getting hotels. This hotel would, however, would be the exception. My hotel room was filthy when I checked in and it had a terrible musty smell. I wouldn't have known the housekeeper had even visited my room except that she cranked the air conditioner up on high even though the lows at night were only in the upper 50s.”

• The staff did a wonderful job of meeting our room needs.
• The breakfast was not great quality.

“This hotel was clean and the staff were very accommodating. The location was fairly convenient. This is a great hotel if you just need to spend the night at a reasonable price. The amenities are very basic and it's located next to the highway. I wouldn't recommend it as a vacation hotel but if cost is a factor it's a reasonable place to stay.”

• The night clerk was the most wonderful person I have ever had check me in or take care of my room needs.
• The cost was more than the rooms were worth, They definitely need some repairs done to them.

“What is there to say? I stayed there 4 nights and it went from one problem to another, first was checked into wrong room, the next room lights were missing, drippy faucet, etc, switched rooms again and there were cracks in the ceiling corners, gum on the ceiling, the cover to the fan in the bath was laying on the floor, the refridgerator door was coated with something sticky so you had to really work to get it to open, beer bottle caps in the floor when I changed rooms, and the list could go on.”
