“I had a wonderful stay at the victory inn. We were in town for my husbands family reunion and needed to stay an entire weekend. What we payed at this hotel for an entire weekend were the going rates for a one night stay at surrounding hotels. The rooms were comfortable and the area was very quite. They had a large selection of TV channels for my children and also free wireless internet. The only time I could get the kids up and out of bed was for their breakfast. My kids go crazy for dough nuts and the front desk staff made sure they were fully stocked. We felt very safe in this neighbor hood and there was not one complaint from our mouths. If we ever have to travel this way again we will stay here.”

“My husband and I often visit the Detroit area to see family and friends but usually end up staying at their houses. We decided to get a hotel room this last visit and we were very pleased with The Victory Inn. The front desk was knowledgeable of the area and attractions and spoke of new renovations to their property. We couldn't have been happier with our room, very clean, lots of towels and comfy beds. The staff was friendly, charming and helpful. They were the least expensive in the area and we will be there in the winter when we come back.”

“If the hotel is a rocking, then you better come a knocking, if you get what I am saying. Never have I ever felt so threatened by minorities in my entire life. Besides the constant knock on the door from drug dealers trying to extend their clientle, and the constant sound of police sirens, this hotel has a very urban touch that any pre-legal teenager can appreciate. Feel close to Detroit even though you're miles away! I suggested to the owners that the name be changed from Economy Lodge, to "The Ghetto In". Seems very fitting.”

“This is a wonderful motel if you would love to party it up until morning. There is a countless number of dealers to keep the rock a coming. The second building has been known to have cockroaches. Definitely not a family place. But its pretty clean. I would keep your socks on. I once found a left over blunt in one room next to the Bible. I would go back. Love it.”

“I wanted to stay 5 nights - I left the very next morning. My wife and I will never stay at a econo- lodge ever. I'll tell anyone that listens that I had a very bad experience.”
