• The staff.
• No dish detergent in room. Could have been cleaner.

“For price, it was better than I was afraid it would be. The staff was nice and helpful. Sheets and blankets had holes and burn marks even though we were in a non-smoking room. It would be nice for them to separate them. Overall, it served the purpose we needed it to.”

• Worn out carpets; no shampoo; old mattress; security risk, etc.

• Pillows were like bricks, no soaps/shampoos, staff was not helpful.

• Convenient location.
• It's more like low-income apartments than a hotel.

“The room was clean and it was a convenient location. There is no 24 hour front desk staff, no one was available there when we wanted to check out. They do not serve a continental breakfast of any kind. If you want maid service (bed-making or changing out towels) there is an additional fee charged. This hotel serves as apartments for low-income residents, which can be noisy at times. If any of the other nearby hotels was any better quality, I would have selected one of them, but all the local hotels seem about the same as this one.”

• It was centrally located; everything you needed and wanted was within driving distance.
• Rooms were kind of small, and the TV was a 19"

• It was clean, very functional and efficient and good size.
• The hall ways were very narrow and drab and ceiling felt very low.

“I choose this because I am in the area taking care of an elderly in firm relative for 12 hours a day and would be needing off site lodging for 2 weeks. I had a budget and the price was very helpful in my staying within my budget. It was bare bones. No lobby, no place for guests to sit. Nor frills but it worked for me. The fact that I sensed there were people living there for many years and this was home felt strange to me.”

• It was within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and close to shopping. The kitchen was very handy.
• Pillows in bad shape (very lumpy-it had been washed and dried), bed very hard and no extra blankets in room.

“The hotel had a nicely equipped kitchenette with a full-sized fridge. The halls and elevator smelled like smoke but the non-smoking room was OK. The accommodations were adequate considering it was rated a 2 star hotel and the price was extremely reasonable.”

“During check-in I was informed that I would be required to pay $20 extra to receive two double beds and that the reservation was single queen only. Very upset.”

• Clean, staff is very friendly and helpful.
• The shower head and water pressure was low - would be nice to have a larger coffee pot.

“We stayed here a few weeks ago. Since then we knew what to bring different than other hotels. Bring your own coffee and filters, dish soap, and all bath products. The seating available is the room is perfect for two people. I did not use the Internet service but the table space available would be adequate for a business traveler. All the appliances work great.”

“Carpet was awful. Room smelled like someone smoked pot before I checked in. Housekeeping came in and took care of the odor. Any more than that and I would have been upset.”

“The hotel is in a great location, but regardless who's at the front desk they always seem depressed. The level of gloom you encounter when you arrive there kind of dampens your mood. I've never seen housekeeping there but there were spider webs on the ceiling above the windows in plain view.”
