• Staff receptionist and housekeeper AA++.
• Condition and amenities substandard.

“This hotel is misrepresented, the tub jet systems are deactivated in all rooms, no ice is available on premises, maintenance is in arrears, lights in bath broken, shower curtain rod coming down, ironing board missing/unusable. Viewed additional rooms courtesy of housekeeping, all were deficient in some manner, equipment not complete or inoperative, some room layouts are too cramped to qualify for 2-star.”

• Very friendly staff.
• Room was a bit dark.

“The Jameson Inn Hartwell is a good value. Though nothing special, it is comfortable and quite. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The fresh baked cookies in the evening is a nice addition. The breakfast is simple but adequate. Note the rooms open to the parking lot and the pool is closed in the winter.”

• Convenient to where we needed to be
• A bit worn out

“On our visit, the recliner chair was broken, the room smelled musty, carpet was dirty and the bed needed a new mattress. At breakfast the waffle stuck in the waffle maker (you make your own) and the employee was very put out with me about it, she unplugged it and marched away never to be seen again! The Best Western is newer and just down the street.”
