• The rooms were very clean and spacious.
• The pool was freezing and all the pop machines were out of order.

“The pool was absolutely freezing so cold you could not swim in it! The stay was upsetting because the hotel was picked for this reason and we could not swim because the heat was not turned on! Then, all of the pop machines were out of order. The pool and vending situation seemed ridiculous because we checked in Friday evening around 5pm. Why wouldn't the staff turn the heat on for the pool and make sure the machines were stocked for the weekend?”

• I liked that the hotel staff was friendly and very attentive to my needs.
• I could smell the cigarette smoke from the adjoining room in my bathroom.

• Cleanliness of room, accommodations.

“Overall I was displeased with the entire stay. The hotel staff had disabled WiFi access to the rooms but also did not have Ethernet cords available. The time that these cords would become available continually changed and I still did not have one in my room prior to departing. The remote control for the television had no working batteries in it and when I called the desk I was told they were also out of batteries. Although the hotel had numerous vacancies I was placed in a handicap accessible room with no bath tub, just a wheel in shower that was dirty. The shower head only reached to mid chest height and could not be adjusted. Finally check out was supposed to be at 11 am, at 10 am the maid entered my room and said to me 'Why are you still here you are supposed to be gone' and then walked out, coming back in 15 minutes saying 'You still here?'. Overall very unpleasant stay.”

• Room had ashes next to bed, shower curtain falling off wall, phones not working.

• The rooms were big and nicely equipped, microwave and fridge.
• There was a gun in the mulch, had to make a trip to the ER.

“The location was easy to find, however when my son noticed a gun in the mulch, we didnt feel so safe anymore. My son also cut his hand on a missing tile in the swimming pool, which led to an expensive trip to the Emergency Room. I asked to speak to someone about this bill, left my number, and no one has returned a call”

• Staff outstanding, room very nice, location outstanding, good breakfast.
• No complaints at all. A fabulous weekend!

“Comfort Suites Columbus is a solid hotel, well maintained and staffed with outstanding people. I have stayed there 4 times (Ohio Cup base ball), originally choosing for the convenient location, but thrilled with the experience. The rooms are clean, there is flexibility in changing conditions, and there always seem to be happy kids around (this seems a very family friendly hotel with a good pool). I look forward to staying there again next year, and would recommend the hotel in an instant.”
