“The staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and well equipped with a coffee pot, iron, ironing board, hair dryer etc. The continental breakfast was fresh and well-stocked.”

“It did not feel safe in this motel. Outside entrances, the rooms were shabby, the safety lock was broke, the pool was dirty.”

“Counter person was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and met our needs. The only disappointing two things was a cold pool when it was suppose to be heated and very loud guests between 3 AM and 4 AM.”

“There were previously slept-in sheets with hair from the previous guest still in the bad when we checked in. There was soap scum all over the shower with more hair stuck to the shower tiles and tub. (I didn't use their in-room shampoo but I did see that the seal on the bottle had already been broken and the contents used before we got there.) The wet bathmat came up from the bathroom floor with gray spots on it from absorbing the dirt and grime on the floor. The alarm clock was broken and didn't go off, the key to the room safe had been 'stolen' so we couldn't lock up any valuables. The carpet was so dirty the pattern in the weave was practically invisible due to the grime embedded in it. Do not stay at this place. it was a thoroughly disgusting experience from beginning to end.”

“Did not like that they placed two women on the backside of the hotel, freeway side, away from office. Internet access was free but poor, facilities need updating. Too much pattern going on in room, a little tacky.”

“Economical price. Amenities were in good shape, except phone was shaky. Also, it was definitely not that clean, i.e. phone and pee stain on comforter.”

“I needed this hotel only for a place to sleep and shower while visiting friends in Columbus. Close to campus, close to Arena District, and again cheap stay.”

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was in a rough section of town, the grounds and rooms were unattractive and dirty. It smelled of cigarettes in the rooms that were non smoking and it was noisy. There was litter everywhere. The staff was rude. Do not stay here!”

“This hotel is not even worth a star rating of any kind. I've stayed in better motels than this place was. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It wouldn't even make a good pet kennel.”

“Good stay for the price, but could have had a cheaper rate if I would have stopped at an area rest area and picked up the hotel guide.”

“The rooms were not updated. The juice machine did not work, so were gone to the neighboring Comfort Inn for breakfast as per the hotel attendant.”

“This hotel was perfect for my needs, since I needed to use the Ohio Historical Society, which was directly across the street and in walking distance. Its convenience to I-71 is also a plus, as it enables one to get downtown very quickly. Also, being on 17th Street, one can head over to North High Street and the OSU campus very easily. After all, so you pretty much know what to expect before you get there. The room was adequate, although the shower did not have much pressure and the TV remote did not work and had to be exchanged. In addition, since both of us were smokers and we had a smoking room, we were not too pleased to discover that the cleaning staff forgot to leave new ashtray after the second night and it was too late to go to the office to get some, so we had to fill one of the drinking cups with water and use it for an ashtray. Overall, though, these are minor quibbles, and I would rate this as a good, but not great, place to say. Having a McDonald's next door was also handy!”

“The greeting I received by the hotel staff was warm and friendly. The rooms are small and clean and have a one cup coffee maker and hairdryer. I did not see an iron or ironing board. Items such as toothbrush or shower cap can be obtained from the front desk. The continental breakfast consists of high carbohydrate items. The hotel does not have a restaurant, pool or exercise room. It is within walking distance to the Ohio State Fairgrounds.”

“The room was of very poor quality. It had an old smell and the sheets and blankets had holes and probably needed to be replaced, however they seemed clean. I was not satisfied with the room and ended up booking another hotel for the second night of my stay.”

“Just a disaster of a hotel. Not the staff's fault that things are falling apart, but the chain itself could certainly use some updates in furniture and other attributes of the hotel. Not recommended unless you absolutely cannot afford something.”

“I had to change my own sheets due to the food that was in the bed. There were flies in the room along with spiders. The carpets were not swept and the bath tub was coming away from the floor and wall. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody except people that want the hotel for at least 20 minutes or so.”
