“I would not use this hotel because of the lack of services and personnel at the counter. The hall had dog food scattered all over the hall floor, a sorry place to recommend a kennel.”

• The location was convenient to the highway.
• The facility was not very clean.

“I would not stay at this hotel again, the facility itself was not clean. The room was ok. It was pretty clean, but it could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly. The free continental breakfast included, pre-made pancake batter and two waffle makers in the lobby with a juice machine. The hallways and stairways of the hotel looked like you were walking through an alley they were so dirty. I was very disappointed in my stay.”

“Take this hotel off of your site. It was old and dirty. The furniture was broken. The door card key jammed several times. In simple words it was disgusting, run down and you should be ashamed to offer this Travelodge.”

• Unhelpful staff, sheets were not clean, cockroach in room.

“Property was in very poor condition. Carpets were stained and turning up at edges, sheets were not clean, found a cockroach in my room, and was given a smoking room when I requested non-smoking. Breakfast area was not kept clean, outside door locks were broken. Staff was quite unhelpful.”

“Would not stay again it was very dirty and the TV didn't work. Although it was cheap, I would definitely spend more money next time to ensure a clean, pleasant stay.”

“No shampoo, dirty sheets, dirty pillow cases, dirty towels, dirty carpet, just a really crappy hotel. Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.”

“I don't want to judge the hotel and it was my fault for the experience since I knew I shouldn't book a 1 star hotel. It was everything you'd expect from a 1 star. Our shower was on when we went into the room and wouldn't shut off. They were over booked, so when they offered another room, we were probably taking someone elses who wasn't there yet. I asked for a refund and stayed somewhere else.”

• The staff were the friendliest I have ever experienced at a hotel.
• The breakfast lacked a lot to be desired.

“This hotel is decent for the money I spent on it, the staff was the friendliest I have ever experienced in any hotel. The things that were wrong such as the bathroom light didn't work correctly were quickly taken care of. The breakfast was not the greatest but the friendly staff made up the difference in my opinion.”

• No electricity on 1/2 the rooms, on phone, no alarm clock, didn't get wake up call.

“The location was great, the phone was broken, only 1/2 the lights worked in both rooms, there were big holes in the hall walls. We asked for a 7:30 a.m. wake up call but received none.”

• Hotel room was clean and inexpensive. But lobby smelled.
• The hotel lobby smelled like cat pee.

“If the lobby did not smell, I would have given everything much higher scores. If my room would have smelled the same, I would not have stayed there. The people were nice & I told them the lobby smelled like cat urine, I hope they fixed it.”

“This hotel is a dump. Even though is a cheap hotel it should be cleaner and more professional. It is like a rat hole. Very disgusting. I have been trying for them to fax me my receipt since one was not given at checkout for almost a week and still I did not receive it.”

• There was a stabbing in the motel. Policeman advised never to stay there

“Please take this off your listings. I havent had time to write this summer but it was a very bad experience. The noise was terrible there was a fight that ended in a stabbing. I went to the lobby in the morning after talking to the police and asked for a refund from the manager that was trying to clean up blood that was all over the lobby, to no avail since I had booked online. I'll never do that again.”

• It was close to the German Amphitheater and was very budget friendly.
• The nonsmoking room had ashtrays, smelled heavily of smoke, and the fire alarm was hanging off the wall.

“The front desk clerk verified with me that we wanted a nonsmoking room as was stated on my confirmation sheet, yet our room was obviously used as a smoking room. There were four of us staying in the room, but they only gave us two towels and one room key. The breakfast the next morning was a joke. There were a total of two muffins and a partial dispenser of cereal for all of the guests who hadn't eaten yet. Due to the low cost of the hotel room we expected the hotel to be run down and in a poorer neighborhood; however those with kids should know that the Travelodge does share a parking lot with a gentleman's club and there is graffiti on some of the hotel room doors. To its benefit, it looked as if the Travelodge was trying to upgrade their hotel and put in new air conditioners while we were there.”
