“7 vehicles were broken into that night, including mine. Did $1200 damage to my vehicle and stole $2100 worth of electronic (sound system) components. Horrible experience.”

• 10 minutes away from everything!

“When we got there the hotel clerk gave us the key to a room that was already in use! We just walked in on someone in their room! But they quickly fixed their mistake and we stayed at a pretty nice room that was really close to the pool and workout facility. The pool was nice and big and had a jacuzzi.”

• Proximity to area attractions, restaurants nearby to choose from.
• Breakfast was not very good at all, hotel dining area was not appealing, also lawn care began mowing extremely early for families that were sleeping.

“Late checkout at noon, making it easy for a family to sleep in and still take advantage of the pool for the kids before it is time to leave.”

• It had a nice spa/pool area.
• The rooms were outdated, and rooms could have been cleaned better.

“This hotel wasn't to bad for the most part, it had a very nice pool area, and the breakfast was quite good. The only bad part was the room said it had a refrigerator but didn't and the beds weren't so clean nor soft.”

• The price.
• The windows, rugs, elevators were dirty but our room was clean.

“The hotel in general was dirty. We were there for 3 nights and the carpet was full of lint and was never vacuumed. The windows and glass doors were filthy. The over-all appearance was not pleasant. Our room, except for a little mold on the bath tub. The cleanliness of our room kept the hotel tolerable.

• The bed was super comfortable.
• The setup for the refrigerator--need more outlets. it's a dangerous setup now.

“Very comfortable. Very quiet. Close to restaurants fast food and sit down. The only issues I had were the heat in the hallway and the setup of the refrigerator the cord was stretched tight over the sink. It could be dangerous.”

• Location.
• Very old, needs updating and run air in hallways.

“Good location but the actual hotel itself is in desperate need of an update. Hallways were not air-conditioned making them very hot in August. Pool area was not that well maintained and there were no towels and hot tub was broken. I would probably not stay at this hotel again.”

• It was quiet and convenient for our family reunion. Good breakfast!
• The room was ok, the cushions on the bench were soiled and dirty. Window curtain was half down. Shower curtain had stain on it.

“The staff was ok (new girl on desk). The hotel room did not measure up to other 2 1/2 star rooms. Hall carpet dirty on edges. Pool was very nice and we would stay there again. Breakfast was good, but they should label bottles (syrup, etc.) Secure first seating bench in restaurant.”

• Rooms were surprisingly clean compared to hotel.
• Water was shut off 2nd day just as I was going to bathe.

“For a Clarion Hotel, this hotel was way sub-par. The desk clerk gave me keys for the wrong room initially, which I caught before I actually hauled all my stuff up there. He was neither embarrassed nor apologetic for the error - just matter of fact. The public areas, especially the hallways and the rear entrances and elevator were very dirty. The doors have holes in them where the locks have been removed, and the keyless entry using our room card was not necessary the first night, even though we entered after 10 pm. The water was shut off the second morning of our three day stay. When I called the desk, the clueless clerk said that they were probably reading the meters. Ridiculous. So instead of bathing, we went down for breakfast, where there was no attendant present. No batter for the waffle machine, the juice machine dispensed pure concentrate since there was no water to mix it with, and the one pitcher of ice water was gone in an instant. The water was back on within an hour, and the desk clerks continued to claim ignorance as to why it was off. Our room was surprisingly clean, given the public areas. This hotel is badly in need of upgrading. Clarion should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this hotel.”

• Friendly/funny check in person, very clean room.
• Hot tub was not working.

“The pool was open late and since we got there late, that was refreshing. Great continental breakfast with eggs, waffles and sausage. Would definitely stay there again.”

• This hotel was terrible. Not clean and I feared for my safety.

“This hotel was terrible. The front desk took 15 minutes to check me in. Once I walked to the room going down the hall 2 men were looking at me funny and I feared for my safety? The room was dirty and smelled like smoke.”

• My room was very spacious and clean and the staff was very professional.
• The fitness room left a lot to be desired.

“I had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at the Clarion. The room was very affordable for the accommodations. I would recommend the hotel to all of my associates.”

• Pool, exercise, no noise, bathroom, breakfast, no outside lights, room bed ok.
• The amerisuits off 23 just north of Columbus had a room with a good sitting area & desk.

“Breakfast they served utensils use side up. This allowed for contamination. I told them but only one of the 3 utensils was adjusted to presentation side up the next day. Also, their computer could not be put to use to get e-mail. I did not bring my own computer so I can't speak for their Wi-Fi if they have any.”

• Beds very comfortable.
• Very dirty, noisy and run down.

“This hotel is run down. It was very dirty and noisy. There were people running around everywhere. The hotel did not seem safe or secure. There were teenagers hanging out "gang like" in the parking lot. I called ahead to ask for a non-smoking room and it was not arranged upon my arrival. While checking us in and out, the staff were nice and professional. The beds were comfortable.”
