• The cleanliness of this hotel was horrible.

“This hotel was incredibly dirty and the staff did nothing to correct it. When I arrived in my room the carpet was filthy and there was hair in the towels, on the sink, and in the tub. The toilet had urine streaks on the outside of it. The front desk was notified of the rooms condition and they said they would send someone up to clean it while we went to dinner. When we came back the carpet was still dirty, the toilet was clean, but all of the hair in the sink and shower was simply moved around. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.”

• Parking was cheap.
• Dirty, heater didn't work, shuttle didn't come

  rude.

“The heater didn't work. The hair dryer didn't work. The outlets wouldn't allow us to charge our cell phones. When we complained, the manager, he laughed at us. I've never had such a bad hotel! Hard to believe it was a Holiday Inn!”

• Friendly, outgoing staff. Recently remodeled now has a pool.
• The rooms didn't have a microwave or mini fridge.

“The stay was good. Love the shuttle. Like that there is an indoor pool and fitness center. Staff very friendly. This is the 2nd time in 3 yrs that I have stayed at this hotel and it was a great stay then and even better now.”

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was easy to find in a convinient location, and the staff were super friendly. We will stay her again if the need to be in downtown columbus arises again!”

• Price.
• Timely room service. Wasn't quite on-time when asked for it.

“They still have a lot work to do to clean up of their renovations. Elevators mainly and some rooms need touch-up. Hot water wasn't quite up to par as well.”

• Everything was above my expectations! Restaurant, staff, room and all.
• I can't think of one thing I didn't like.

“Great place to stay. We've been there the last two times we've stayed in the Columbus area (we stay a week at a time when we go) and we're hoping to stay there again. The rooms, common areas, restaurant and staff was all great. The new indoor pool is beautiful and the gym they are building looks like it will be great too!”

• The suite had two bathrooms and a living room.
• The location was not close to any attractions.

“The hotel is great for the price! Be prepared to take a cab mostly to anywhere you want to go. The hotel has been remodeled and has decent furnishings for the value.”

• Elevators were not working and one time we got stuck in an elevator for 10-15 minutes, no help available.

“Elevators were always problem, there were no lights, long time to wait even though they have 3 elevators, breakfast in the dinnig room was not of
a good quality, sevice was very poor at the restaurant. Over all I can rate this place poor.”

• Our room was newly renovated with nice furniture and down (or fake down) comforters.
• One elevator still needs replacing. Rooms are small.

“This hotel appears newly remodeled and the indoor pool is finished (we didn't use it). The service was good. The furniture in the room we stayed in appeared new, and the linens were all white with what appeared to be down comforters, etc. The room was quite small for 2 double beds and the bathroom was functional but smaller also.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful. I forgot a paper I needed and they went out of their way to help me get a copy of it.
• The room we stayed in smelled like very strong perfume and it bothered my sinuses.

• The staff was excellent, parking, great restaurant.
• The maids didn't clean the bathroom very well.

“An excellent stay. The restaurant was tremendous, well priced. The hotel was under construction, but that wasn't an issue, I was leery because it looked like a Holiday Inn. But the new changes in the lobby etc. are going to be stunning once finished. The staff was phenomenal, except the maid service. Bathroom floor never got cleaner even after we asked.”

• The bathroom was too small, needs updating.

• Good location, close to everything, but still in a more quiet part of Downtown.
• Cramped, kind of outdated bathrooms.

“The hotel was going through some renovations for the last two years and the effects of it are finally visible. The new windows look so much nicer and cleaner, so is the lobby and the hotels restaurant. The hotel and room were clean, but the bathroom, especially the tub area looked old and kind of well used. Staff is a lot nicer that it's ever been there, which was a nice, compared to my other stays at this hotel.”

• Delayed check in, had to switch rooms, key wouldn't work, and only 1 elevator was working.

• I liked that we were right down town walking distance to everything.
• No pool, older and had no queen beds, restaurant not always open.

“I did not like the fact that it was a choice between a King with NO pull out couch or two double beds. Our stay would have been more comfortable if their were at least rooms with two queen. The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful and polite. The hotel was in walking distance to everything.”

• The staff was extremely helpful, professional.
• It was being renovated.

“We had an excellent stay. The hotel was being renovated; therefore there was some construction dust outside and the pool wasn't available. The renovations that were complete (lobby, bar, restaurant) look great - staff was extremely helpful and professional! Once the building project is completed this could be a 3-star!”
