• Nice facility, amenities, and staff. HDTV.
• Did not know it was valet parking only $18/day.

“Great hotel in downtown Columbus, not overly upscale but much better than other hotels I've stayed at. I did not know that parking was valet only at 18$/day, though there was a $6 garage we found a couple of blocks west of the hotel.”

• Convenient location.
• The staff. I had a stay of 2 nights, when I left in the morning I was checked out. I never went and checked out. Not sure why this happened.

• Hotel registration staff was very friendly and helpful.
• Having to pay for parking was a real turnoff.

“Hotel in located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Valet attendants will park your car for a fee, as this is the only option for parking at this hotel. Bedroom was clean and affordable. Family friendly but would be better for business travelers. Indoor pool was clean and welcoming.”

“Older property, but clean and updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Unlike much competition, this hotel charged for breakfast. For what I paid, it was a fair value.”

• The location and really only the pool/fitness center are to be commended.
• Absolutely no parking at all. I had to use the valet parking, and then when I wanted to leave for dinner the wait for my car was TOO LONG!

“No comp breakfast, and only one elevator (the waiting lines were enough that we should be reimbursed).”

• Breakfast buffet was great - rate it a 10.
• Did not like required valet parking - kids running the halls - dirty bathtub.

“Hotel staff was friendly - did not like required valet parking - children in hall running all night - bathtub was filthy dirty looked as if a construction worker had spent the night and no one cleaned it afterwards - beds were not very comfortable - no menu for the restaurant I was told was room service - channel guide for hotel worked less than 1/2 of the time - overrated hotel.”

• Room smelled like smoke.

• I was very impressed with the hotel staff in terms of care and efficiency.
• The room, though clean, was cramped.

• Great location, room rates, comfort of beds, large rooms, large bathrooms and bathtub great size, free internet access, tam on location.
• There was not a fridge in our room, which would have been helpful. The pool was kind of small.

“I had a wonderful Experience. This was my first time to Columbus and this was a great location. There are wonderful places to dine all over the place if you walk a few blocks in either direction. I am very much into arts and many shops were in walking distance. IT was great, comfortable and I almost feel guilty with the deal I got for my stay.”

• It was easily accessible from the freeway.
• The room furniture seemed to be configured oddly. The TV beside the bed rather than at foot; beside comfort chair. Surprise parking.

“The staff was extremely accommodating and professional. The amenities were more than adequate. Very pleasant stay at reasonable rate.”

• I liked the downtown location.
• The staff treated us disrespectfully because of our p-line reservation.

“The hotel staff was cordial until they learned ours was a p-line reservation. We were assigned a king and requested a double, but were told that no changes were permitted because of the p-line reservation. My understanding is that changes may occur if available. I feel that we were treated differently because of the p-line reservation at this location.”
