Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[7]

  • Clean large rooms.
  • Railroad tracks 10 yards from bedroom, poor TVs.

“Pleasant hotel rooms, decent hot breakfast, pleasant staff, unfortunately situated right next to set of three railroad tracks with trains running 24 hrs a day blowing their horns, making sleep difficult. My two TVs were worn out, the remotes barely worked, reception was poor on several channels. Decent place except for trains.”

  • Everything except the train.
  • The trains.

“Terrible. Absolutely terrible. I was awakened more times than I could count by the roaring trains that drove within 15 yards of my bed. Why would you build a hotel so close to a train track? Never again.”

  • I loved the room.
  • Breakfast was very disappointing.

“Everything was fine except the breakfast was not very good. No food or very little and the replenishment was very slow. I had to leave and could not wait.”

  • The hotel staff is very nice. Every request has been met.
  • This hotel is located 50 feet or less from very busy railroad tracks. Unbelievable. I can't believe a hotel like this sits here. Not recommended.

“I can't believe a hotel sits this close to railroads tracks. Very busy tracks with the whistle blowing as well at all hours. I will not stay at this location again. Rooms on that outside wall vibrate and shake when the train comes through. Very noisy!”

  • The hotel was clean and the breakfast had lots of choices.
  • The hotel is located next to a train track and trains went by all night long.

“The hotel was nice and clean and the breakfast buffet had a lot of choices and was available for an extended period of time which was great for us. The hotel's computer didn't work so I was unable to update a sports website that I was responsible for updating that night. Also, we were placed in a room at the far back of the hotel closest to the train track and the trains went by all night so we didn't get a lot of sleep. The hotel was not full so we could have been located away from the tracks.”

  • Breakfast offering, especially if I had been well rested if not woken up from train throughout the night. I stayed at this hotel 3 nights in a row.
  • Located 30 yards from a train track which has trains blowing their whistles and rumbling past the hotel regularly during the night!

“Location, Shame on Marriott!”

  • Spacious.
  • Mattress was terrible.

“Everything was good about this hotel except for the most important thing the mattress. It bowed down in the middle and was very uncomfortable.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[7]

  • Rooms were clean and decent sized.
  • Three railroad tracks within 30 feet of our room which ran trains 24 hours a day.

“It's actually a very nice hotel except for the proximity of the railroad tracks and continuous train traffic. Impossible to get a good nights rest.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[4]

  • Staff and breakfast were good. Breakfast does need more variety.
  • Noise. Trains run by all night. Lack of oven.

“On the surface everything is typical of a Residence Inn. The rooms were a little smaller than I remember in the past and the property is showing signs of age. Everything else with the following exception was what I would expect. This property is situated at its closest point, only 23 yards from a main freight rail line. I requested a room as far from the track as possible and it was 72 yards away it. Unfortunately the very loud rumbling and warning horns, from the many trains every night, precluded me from getting a single night of half decent sleep in my 6 nights there. Overall an exhausting stay.”

  • Breakfast included.
  • My room was very close to a railroad very noisy.

“Impossible to sleep because of the constant train traffic. Big problem because I had a very important exam to take the next day. More difficult when you are sleep deprived.”

  • It was very close to the mall and there were restaurants and a movie theatre within walking distance which made the stay a little better.
  • There was a railroad track in the back of the hotel. It kept us up all night!!! Room was very small for a suite. Walls were too thin.

“For the amount of money I paid I was very dissatisfied. There was a train that kept me up half the night, the walls were thin and someone was coughing all night, for a 1 bedroom suite with a separate living area or dining area it was way too small, the bedroom was even smaller, and the TV. had bad reception and also was small. Didn't have HBO channels. I've never stayed in a Residence that small that was "supposed" to be a suite with a separate living area... I love Residence Inn's but that one was not up to standards. Only good things were that the mall was close, restaurants and a movie theater were both within walking distance. But the stay at the hotel was not what I expected.”

  • The hotel itself was fine, in fact, quite nice. It has a great free breakfast.
  • The big problem with this hotel was that it is directly in front of a train track. We were woken up at least 3-4 times per night by whistle and noise.

“The hotel was fine. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. Our big problem and why we will never stay there again is that the hotel is located directly in front of a train track. The train noise woke us all up several times per night! If you wear earplugs or sleep very deeply - this is a nice place. Otherwise, look elsewhere. It's possible that our room was in a particularly bad spot. At the least, ask for a room as far away from the train as possible.”

  • Very efficient staff, very comfortable homey suite.
  • Didn't seem to recognize that they might have other guests besides business people.

“Very nice on the whole. I was asked upon check-in what company I was with. I found that an odd question to ask right off the bat, it is as if the last thing they expected.”

  • They finally installed cable television.
  • It borders a railroad track upon which trains frequently travel.

“Good and Clean. No computer for guest use. Borders a railroad track. Trains travel it all night and the rumble of the train awakens me.”

“In general a nice place and location except for the rail road next to the building. Could also use new king size beds.”

“Upon arrival I was greeted with courtesy and patience and my reservation was handled professionally. I was impressed that the hotel had an ice cream social event in progress and I was invited to participate right after check in and also reminded of breakfast the following morning which I took advantage of due to my early meeting scheduled for the next morning. All in all a very enjoyable experience.”
