• The bed was amazing, it was very comfortable.
• We kept missing the entrance when returning to the hotel.

“The best part of the hotel was the bed...it was extremely comfortable. We also liked the flat screen TV that swiveled between the bedroom and sitting area.”

• Clean, soundproof, pleasant staff, excellent breakfast.
• No room service - food.

“Loved this hotel! Very nice room, very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were very nice and helpful. My boyfriend and I stayed for three nights and it was very comfy and quiet there. The rooms are soundproofed very well. Excellent experience!”

• Lack of nearby restaurants.

“An excellent selection when you need to stay in the northern Detroit suburbs. Close to the highway to go downtown if you need to. This Hyatt Place is well managed and staffed by competent, caring individuals.”

• The big flat scree
  TV was really nice. Bed was comfortable.
• Nothing that I didn't like.

“The Hyatt was really well located in Utica, MI. The continental breakfast was very elegant. The room had a small living area, really nice. Big flat screen TV made a difference. I thought the bathroom a bit small, but they all are.”

• The room sizes are quite generous.
• The housekeeping staff takes
  forever to get to your room.

“The hotel is in a nice location; it is convenient; the room sizes are generous; the staff is very friendly. However, each day we would return to the room in mid-late afternoon; and housekeeping still had not come to make beds; empty garbage, etc. The free breakfast is very skimpy; and the limited food that they do sell is ridiculously over-priced. Guess they are trying to make up for all that free toast and raisin bran at breakfast.”

“I love staying at Hyatt Place Utica. This was my third stay in the last four months. The rooms are big and comfortable. The huge HD tv is great too. The only room for improvement is the provided breakfast. Lower quality hotels offer a better selection. Otherwise, a great experience. I'll definitely be back!”

• The 42'' TV was nice and it had hookups for anything you need video games, computer etc.
• The pool was closed no hot tub in pool area.

“Good stay for the price. Wish the pool had been open. We smoke and this is a non smoking hotel but they put us next to a door on the first floor so it wasn't bad. There also seemed to be a hotel party going on, there was a lot of people being loud and going in the door that we were put next to, next morning there was puke outside in the bushes.”

• Location.

“We stayed here during the Christmas holiday. The hotel is great one of my favorites! We've stayed there a couple times. The rooms are spacious, there's free wireless internet and printing and there's free continental breakfast. However, this time we realized how bad the location can be. To turn onto Van Dyke after exiting the hotel can be horrendous. It took me almost a half hour to make a left turn onto Van Dyke. This could be due to the season, but it was very frustrating!”
