• I did not expect the hotel to be open. I just don’t find that safe because anyone can come to the doors.

“Overall I had a good experience. I had no problems! The employees at the front desk were outstanding. Also, I called for some extra towels and I got them in a proper amount of time. I would definitely recommend this hotel if its couple people traveling, because the rooms are somewhat small.”

• Location and price. Continental breakfast.
• Poor service from person attending the food area. Did not seem attentive to customers when condiments needed refilling.

“Overall the hotel was very good for the price. The room I occupied needs the carpet cleaned due to pet odor. The odor was masked by turning up the air conditioner and this made the room very cold.”

• We couldn't swim in the pool when we got back... but it was late:(.

“Excellent service! We had a hard time finding the hotel with all of the construction and the receptionst stayed on the phone with us until we got there. She was extreamly helpful! All the staff we encountered were pleasant!”

• The front desk staff was out of this world.
• No Coke products.

“If you are looking for a moderately priced hotel with the amenities of an upscale hotel look no further. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The General Manager will go out of his way to aid you with anything. I highly recommend this hotel.”

• Comfortable lobby area, good (free) breakfast buffet, very nice rooms, excellent location near the gm tech center, free internet access.
• Nothing; great stay.

“Very well managed. Excellent value at a location convenient to the gm tech center. Very comfortable common area, nice rooms. Exceeded my expectations for a 2 star rating. Should definitely qualify for 3 stars.”

• Helpful staff.
• Workout center was ill equipped.

“I just need a place to get internet and sleep. Overall, it accomplished that. I have bad allergies and tend to rate the cleanliness on how bad they get during the visit. I was sneezing with runny nose and even a sore throat. It went away after I left. So, for me, not so good.”

• Numerous repeat visits due to good value & exceptional friendly, helpful staff: select this specific hotel over other metro Detroit hotels.
• Someone else's sunflower seeds in dirty a/c unit/filter & microwave stopped working: must have come unplugged behind armoire-not repaired/fixed.

“The warren tech center area Fairfield inn is exceptionally well managed and cared for. Staff is very friendly, helpful and goes out of their way to accommodate your short or long-term stay away from home. Many repeat travelers stay here due to the clean, well kept, safe hotel rooms. Daily complementary breakfasts and Mon.,, Tues., & weds pm light dinner add to the good value. We have stayed here repeatedly over the past 4 months due to the exceptional, friendly service by all hotel staff. This is our favorite hotel in the metro Detroit area for business and/or family travel. Convenient to gm tech center, Daimler Chrysler, Detroit zoo and other Detroit area businesses. We will be back again when returning to the Detroit area from Houston.”

• The rooms were cleaned.
• My daughter was injured by the pool due to the staff leaving the drainage cap off of the drainage and the staff was not accommodating or friendly.

“The hotel staff has an air of racism about it. It is not friendly or interested in the people who they serve. I would not recommend this location to any of my government business travelers or family or friends. The dynamics has changed since I first stayed there, and I had at one time consider the family staying there for a family reunion But now, I would not recommend it to anyone.”

“My windshield was broken out overnight and was told by the checkout clerk basically I was lying about the fact it was broken at there location. The police came and took a report. When I checked in my windshield was intact. The staff (front desk) all acted as though they didn't want to be there and took it out on the quests.”

• The room had a microwave and a small fridge.
• The bathrooms need work, the tubs have been coated and the coating is coming off.

“Overall we liked the hotel very much, just the bathrooms need work, the rest of the room is fine, the lobby area is very nice as are the grounds of the hotel.”

• Nice rooms and comfortable beds.
• I could not get any bath towels, bad service at continental breakfast.

“Very nice hotel, very clean. Staff seemed slow and unresponsive. It should not take over an hour to get a towel and then go and find it your self. Lots of problems at the continental breakfast. Despite problems it was still a nice stay and a nice hotel.”

• The price was very economical for medium income families.
• Need more locations for ice, vending, too far away from room.

“The hotel was an older hotel and the bathroom was very small. The beds were very comfortable and the room was a decent size. Would prefer some type of table and chairs to eat or at least a chair to watch TV with out having to lay on the beds.”

• They took $224.95 from my account and still didn't explain or refund yet.

“On June 12th my bank got a $224.95 charge from Fairfield in Warren and I called and spoke with the manager he said he had to call my bank and straighten it out and would call me back, it is now the 18th and I have called every day and he's never available also now I am becoming very irritated with the whole situation and now I have to keep hounding them about where's my money and where is the manager. I work every day and sometimes don't get back until 6 pm or later so I miss him on the property and when I call he is always gone. so please help if you can.”
