“I had the misfortune of checking into this hotel with my friends. I handed my portion of the valet parking stub to the security guard, and he then gave it to the valet attendant. The valet attendant gave me the keys to the vehicle of another guest; I realized that it was not mine while placing my luggage inside. After not finding my keys, the attendant informed me that, the attendant from the previous shift had given my keys to another guest or a perfect stranger. Not only was the staff dishonest, but they were extremely rude as well. I have received a brief e-mail from the General Manager, in which she stresses the fact the valet company is not employed by the hotel, well they are certainly subcontracted by the Hilton Garden Inn. I have incurred mounting fees, due to the fact that the vehicle was rented from Enterprise, and if I am required to turn this claim in to my insurance company, I will have to pay a sizable deductible. I have had to cancel my credit card, and I applying for a security freeze on my on my credit. In addition, I must retain the representation of a lawyer, because it appears that neither the hotel nor their valet company is planning to bargain in good faith. I have to wonder, whether or not this was an actual mistake or a regular occurrence, at this facility.”

“All staff at the desk, housekeeping, valet, security everyone we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. Surroundings were very nice and clean. We are most definitely going to stay there again. Would like the kitchen up and going next time but the restaurant we were sent to was very good.”

“I stayed at this hotel for the December 9th Cowboys Lions Game. It is a nice and clean hotel that is with in easy walking distance of Ford Field and Comerica Park. People mover station about 2 blocks away and will take you anywhere in Downtown for only 50 cents. Very easy to get to off of the interstate. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice hotel that is close to everything and is at a fair price.”
