“We were pleased with our stay here. It was easy to find, near a variety of restaurants, near the highway although we didn't find it noisy. We didn't use the indoor pool, but it looked inviting. The desk clerk wasn't at the desk any of the times we walked through the lobby in the evening, came from a back room if you stood there a few minutes. Breakfast selection was attractive and had more variety than most.”

“Even though our ground-level room was facing the parking lot it was very quiet each of the six nights we stayed there. We liked having five pillows on the beds, and the room temperature control was accurate and comfortable. The room was nicely cleaned each day. The breakfast foods offered were good, if not inspired. I really liked having the coffee and creamers available 24 hours a day instead of having to use the little coffee maker provided in the room. In the evening the warm cookies were a nice touch. The staff was friendly and efficient. It was an all around nice experience.”

“I am a Marriott Rewards member and was disappointed in the staff's refusal to check the printed reservations and assign correct rooms. They also fouled up payment arrangements necessitating additional phone calls. In short, not what I expect from Marriott.”

“Other than the rocky start that we got off on, it was pretty good. Although a couple days into our stay the keys just shut off. So we had to get that fixed. But other than that good. The manager needs to get some customer service. My brother had made plans, and confirmed them with the hotel staff, that our plane landed at 1:30 am. That we would be there around 2, if it would be ok, if we could check in early at that time, because we had reservations starting Wednesday thru Saturday. There was a note on the file saying we could and that we would. But when we showed up, there was not a room in sight.”

“Average accommodations, except good breakfast option. Wireless internet connection is additional charge. Pool is located inside central and sound transfers throughout hotel 1st & 2nd floors - stay 3rd floor only if you want quiet.”

“This hotel is located in a convenient part of Marion with access to local shopping, dining and highways (US23, SR95, SR98). It is clean, has free internet, extended pool hours and the staff is very friendly. It is older construction, and has been refurbished, but the mattress seemed quite old, the HVAC was passable, sounds traveled, and the floor overhead creaked. The problems aside, the motel is a good value.”

“Friendly staff and clean breakfast area. Pool was family friendly. The hotel was very noisy, even at 2:00 Our room, located on the lobby between the pool & ice machine was comfortable. The heating unit was noisy, too, and we were unable to turn off the fan. Even in "off" mode, the motor continued to cycle. A good location, however, for travelers to and from Columbus, OH.”

“This hotel was great. The only problem we encountered was at check in they said the computer showed that we had not paid and they tried to charge us the full amount at that time, I showed the desk clerk my receipt and he contacted the manager immediately; the entire matter was cleared up in less than 2 minutes. The staff was courteous and helpful, the rooms were clean, the pool and hot tub areas were clean and inviting. They also offered non-smoking rooms and in-room pay-per-view. The continental breakfast was the best I've ever seen, offering sausage egg & cheese biscuits and they had a waffle iron and batter available to make waffles. Of course, they also had the regular continental breakfast items, such as cereal and bagels.”

“Upon check in-went to assigned room and found it to be a "smoking room" which we did not want. It had an ashtray with cigarette butts that had not been emptied. Went back to front desk-the young man could have not been more helpful-we were "upgraded" at no additional charge-he even escorted us to our room to make sure it was ok. Now that is great customer service!”
