• You could tell it was recently renovated as the curtains & bed spread were fresh looking and the room was very clean.

“For the star that I picked it met my expectations. The breakfast area off the lobby was clean and bright and the free breakfast was more than sufficient and surprisingly good.”

• Very difficult to find the elevator on the third floor.

• Very guest friendly. Good value. Generous breakfast buffet included. Unexpected ameneties.

“We have stayed several times and are struck by the genuinely friendly and helpful staff, top to bottom. Lots of unexpected little ameneties for the price point: breakfast buffet, quality coffee and tea available throughout the day, morning paper, express checkout.”

• Staff was genuinely helpful and friendly, room and bed were comfortable.
• Rooms do not open to an interior corridor, but rather to the outside.

“I would happily stay at this place again. The location is convenient, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and performed a helpful service for me. (I had left my credit card at the next-door restaurant. When I discovered this while roaming about Detroit the next day, I called the hotel.”

• The breakfast and area was good.
• The bed was horrible. So hard that both my hips and back hurt after one night.

“The room and bathroom were very small. You felt very closed in. The bed was the worst leaving both of my hips and back hurting. The breakfast was good with plenty of seating space. I loved having wireless internet.”

• The great breakfast.
• No indoor pool.

“Hotel was nice and had a great breakfast. The workout area was very nice and met my expectations. The staff was friendly enough and the room was clean. It is in a good location and would have been a 2 1/2 if it had some type of indoor activity, like a pool or hot tub.”

• The room was nice and clean with a comfortable bed.
• Being woke up at 8:30 in the morning by fire alarms and then hearing them 30 more times.

“The staff was friendly when we first arrived and the hotel room was attractive, clean, and big enough for two people. We got in late that night and were looking for to a good nights sleep since we had a long day ahead of us. At 8:30 in the morning the fire alarm went off in our room. It went off again 10 minutes later. We called the front desk to see if anything was wrong and they said they were checking the system. It went off ten more times and we called the front desk once again and they said they had to check every single room. Within in the next hour it went off 30 to 40 more times. By the time we checked out both of our ears were throbbing and we both had horrible headaches. This is the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel and the least they could have done is say they were sorry for the inconvenience or warn us that it would go off that many times. I feel the staff was very incompetent in handling the situation and by not giving us even a reason why it had to go off that many times in our hotel room. I will never stay at that hotel again.”

• The continental breakfast was awesome!!! The free dinner on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night was really nice!!!
• The only thing that I did not like was the location.

• A staff member (female) I spoke with prior to my visit was rude.

“Overall the price, quality was great, customer service could be worked on for some staff that need to learn how to treat people as guest no matter how they purchased their reservation.”

• I was sleeping days and the hotel honored my wishes to not be disturbed.
• The hotel entrance from 14 mile road was hard to navigate.
