  • Very friendly owners.

“This is a good place for travelers who are on a budget. The owners are very friendly and the room was clean. I checked out the swimming pool and found it to be satisfactory. This hotel is family friendly and in a quiet neighborhood. I would recommend it to everybody that wants the basics and does not need the frills.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[1] • Location:[5]

  • Location was close to the amusement park we were traveling to.
  • Filthy- torn discolored towels - poor air circulation - filthy.

“Torn discolored towels - poor air circulation - filthy. This should be a 1 star if on the rating scale. Took at least 5 min for the staff to come to greet us. Only had two towels in the room for a double occupancy. We asked for additional towels.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[1] • Location:[3]

  • Absolutely nothing.
  • It was completely disgusting, beds weren't made, room wasn't clean, mean spirited staff.

“The worst hotel I have ever seen. Absolutely filthy, stains everywhere, unclean rooms. Our rooms were not even clean when we showed up and the staff treated us rudely.”

  • Located close to the interstate.
  • Uncomfortable room and bed, hotel staff hard to be found.

“The hotel was pretty clean. The air conditioner sounded like a jet plane and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Hotel staff was hard to find.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[1] • Location:[5]

  • Nothing.
  • Pool was empty.

“It was run down the breakfast the provided was a joke there was only one full bed in the room when I asked for two the main reason we stayed in the hotel was for the pool and it was empty all week end the staff was rude and would not work out any problems.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • Hotel staff was very nice and helpful with my complaints.
  • Hotel guests were smoking marijuana, one nights stands were very apparent, quests were ghetto types.

“I would not approve this hotel for anyone that is on a family vacation. Being on a budget or staying at a low budget motel/hotel, shouldn't mean you have to compromise cleanliness, moral values or the laws of the government.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[7] • Location:[9]

  • Very easy access from the highway.
  • Not enough towels

“Hotel was fairly clean, although bed comforter had a cigarette burn hole. We called the front desk for extra towels and ended up having to walk down to pick them up.”

“Nice accommodations friendly staff see above”

Jun 26, 2007 by Lindsay from Columbus, OH
Overall Rating: 4 Overall user rating
Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[2] • Location:[5]

  • It was bug-free, and had a nice television.
  • The room smelled like old cigarettes, the front desk staff was not helpful, the hotel needed renovated, it looked cheap and dirty.

“The front desk workers at the hotel are not interested in working at all, and are not customer-service friendly. I paid 47 dollars (with tax) for the room and I thought it was a good deal but after staying there I think I got ripped off. I should have stayed at a motel 6 for more money. I had my spouse with me and they gave me a room with a single double bed. We were so uncomfortable. There was no microwave, mini-fridge, or even trash cans anywhere in sight--except for the microwave down behind the front lobby. The towels looked dirty. The room had an awful smell, like the hotel itself, like someone chain-smoked 20 packs of cigarettes. The air conditioner kept turning off throughout the night, leaving the room 300 degrees and I had to wake up during the night to turn it back on. It was ridiculous. I'll never stay at a Travelodge again.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[1] • Location:[1]

  • Absolutely nothing.
  • Pathetic, horrible, disgusting, unfriendly.

“The hotel was in shambles, falling apart, and it had a foul stench when you first walked in, it almost smelled as if someone was doing drugs in the lobby, we didn't even try to get in the rooms. The swimming pool was covered in animal dung and even had geese swimming in it. We had 8 people and needed two rooms with two double beds in each.”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[7] • Location:[4]

  • The hotel was near the highway.
  • The coffee for breakfast in the lobby was cold at 7:30 in the morning.

“The hotel was near the highway which was very convenient, but I did not feel safe. The door we were told to use to enter into the hotel was busted and could not be locked at night. When I went down for breakfast the coffee was cold. I was very disappointed.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[1] • Location:[3]

  • Cigarette burns in bedspread-no cont. Breakfast-wrong wakeup call.

“This place should just be burned. It was awful.”

Sep 8, 2006 by Wayne from Kettering, OH
Overall Rating: 9 Overall user rating
Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Staff was accommodating.
  • Outside appearance was shabby and an outside security door was broken allowing anyone access to the building.

“Upon our arrival we expected the worst due to the shabby appearance. Wasn't worth anymore than what we ended up paying for our stay. Bed linen had a large hole in it from what looked like a cigarette burn. Staff would have had to seen this yet it was never changed in the 3 nights we were there. Surprised that for this rating there was a small outdoor pool but we didn't use it. Nice surprise that the room was clean and that there was a refrigerator and microwave provided in the room. Lack of security would have been a major factor if the motel had been in a larger city or bad part of town. To the plus side there was little outside noise to interrupt our sleeping.”
