• Close to travel destination.
• Run down appearance of hotel in general, lack of cosmetic upkeep. unpredictable continental breakfast.

“Room was fine. Continental breakfast was poor - unpredictable as to what may or may not be available i.e. toast. Exercise room equipment in poor repair (treadmill was not working).”

• They were renovating so there was some dust in the hallways.

• Continental breakfast was bad.

“The hallways were being renovated but why couldn't they vacuum the dust that was everywhere? The toilet worked every fifth flush. The ledge about the shower was filthy with grime and mold. My kids were harassed by roving bands of other guests kids. The roll away bed was unable to support 40 lbs of weight and cost $10. The fire escape door next to us had a broken lock. I was charged a dime for one piece of printer paper and the toner was so low I couldn't read the map I printed. The continental breakfast room was filthy, spills galore, the coffee was putrid, the cereal stale and no OJ. Depressing, dreary, dirty, dingy and degrading.”

• Very clean, friendly staff, affordable and convenient.
• Not worth mentioning.

“Our stay could not have been better. Although they are in process of remodeling everything was clean and organized. They offered us an upgrade which I really appreciated. I enjoyed staying there.”

• Staff was friendly and helpful.
• No shower fan (ventilate), in process of painting & had stuff sitting around which made it look bad.

“They were friendly and helpful with directions, etc. The breakfast was ok, but I've had a lot better. The bathroom didn't have a fan for when you took a shower (for ventilation), which I found odd. The toilet kept running after flushing, until we figured out the trick to it. The hotel was doing renovations, including painting which I thought made it look a little dumpy when we were there. Overall, it worked for us, with a couple of minor disappointments.”

• Security door access to the rooms.
• It lacked a fridge and microwave in the room.

“Over all the hotel was not bad, the did not clear the side walk of ice, the worst parking spaces were the handicap ones they were full of ice. They were miss leading in the pet room, it would have been nice to have a microwave or a fridge in the room. The staff was very nice and friendly.”

• The restaurant.
• Needs newer future renovations.

“The people who worked were timely and ready to assist. The complimentary breakfast was for the most part kept up with. The dining restaurant was good and priced well. The friendliness was very good by all who worked there. No complaints so far as to the end results for the cost. We didn't purchase anything extra so we don't know how they handled that aspect, but everything else was very good. Thanks.”

• The staff was excellent. They even called to see if our room was all right shortly after we checked in.
• The view was less than desirable.

“The Ramada inn at Taylor was a very good deal for the money that we spent. The full service restaurant and bar were excellent with very reasonable prices. The carpet could have been updated and the breakfast room needed help, although the continental breakfast itself was very good. The staff went beyond my expectations.”

• The lobby looked nice.
• Cigarette burns in the blankets (non smoking room), dirty overcrowded pool.

“I was very unsatisfied with this hotel. There were cigarette burns in our blankets and we were in a non smoking room. The pool was so crowded you couldn't move. The continental breakfast was pathetic, poor selection and poor quality. A complete waste of money.”

• My room was not cleaned and after bickering with the afternoon desk we got towels.

• The continental breakfast was plentiful.
• The television remote and channel changing was not operable.

“We had to return to the front desk four times to exchange remotes and batteries, only to request a room change as the television would not function on channel changing. The first room smelled of cigarette smoke. The second room smelled of pet odors. We did not request a third room change since we only stayed a single night. I would not return to this hotel, nor recommend it to others.”

• The hotel was very dirty, messy, etc.

“Hotel staff friendly, etc., but the inside of the hotel was not clean--public areas especially. They have successfully upgraded their bathrooms, but minor repairs needed in room, such as hanging wire near door. There were 2 sweepers left in side entrance way the whole stay.”

• There were people smoking pot in a room down the hall, and my family could smell it outside their room.

“The entire motel needs a make over. Wall paper starting to roll up in corners, bed quilt was dirty on the underside. Overall didn't have a clean feel to it.”
