“This hotel had great rooms, but the price was too high for what was going on inside. The construction was very disturbing. They charged my card for things that I didn't order, and I called to settle it but the control person said that they couldn't do anything for me.”

“The hotel needs to be updated. The mattress was extremely too soft, the TV was old and sounded like a toy and the quality of the food was poor. The gentleman at the front desk, Dennis wrote the wrong, room number on the envelope with the door keys. I waited 5 min and called the front desk for help. Dennis informed me that he would send somebody to assist me. I waited another 5 min and called back and then he informed me, that the correct room number was 917 not 617. The hotel seems to cater to families and if I had been aware of that, I would have preferred to stay somewhere else. Furthermore, if I had known that the quality of the hotel was some poor, I would have preferred to pay a few more dollars for better service.”

“The hotel is a 5-star hotel far as looks, but on friendliness they could do better at greeting their guest. I called to the front desk to complain about the noise and he told me that there was only one security guy and there was nothing he could do. The front desk manager was very rude and it turned me off from the embassy in Southfield. I would stay at the embassy suites again but not at that location.”

“This hotel was disappointing for Embassy Suites. The bed wasn't very comfortable. The drain in the tub was clogged. The beer selection at the manager's reception was limited only to Miller. Overall, this place wasn't as good as many other Embassy Suites.”

“This is a good, older hotel. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The room heater was old and the thermostat seemed to stick and create a buzzing sound. The breakfast staff was hard working, but sometimes would run out of supplies making some foods unavailable. The location was convenient to Dearborn and the east side as the hotel is located at the intersection of 5 major roadways.”

“The hotel was very easy to find, had a nice atrium, and offered a complementary evening reception. The room did have a dirty towel left in it from a previous guest, but overall served my needs.”

“I had a miserable experience at this hotel. When I arrived, I was told hotel was sold out. I was not happy, but went along. Spoke with the night manager, told her I would agree, but only if I could be assured of a hotel shuttle each day to my conference approx. 4 miles away. I was assured that would be no problem. Long story short, over the next 5 days, I was able to ride the hotel shuttle only 2 times out of 10 trips back and forth to my conference. I spent over $80.00 on cab fare due to this. Much more negative to go into, but I don't have the time. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, avoid at all costs.”
