Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • The staff was very friendly.
  • The bed in the hotel room I was in I got bit by some type of insect.

“This hotel is ok for a few days for light business travelers.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[9]

  • It was a good location near the airport.
  • The furniture was old.

“I just stayed the night, waiting for a family member to come pick me up the next day, as I arrived late and did not want to travel or have anyone else travel late to pick me up.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[10] • Location:[9]

  • Close to airport.
  • Room was not cleaned on a daily basis. No air conditioning in public areas. No vending. Small room.

“If I could stay at the same price, I might consider again. Otherwise, $10 more for a larger room in a cleaner hotel would be worth it.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[3] • Location:[2]

  • Nothing.
  • It was a dive.

“Needs to be updated, furnishings old outdated, not well lighted, no insulation in walls, heard your neighbors, heard planes all night, insulation may help¿”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[4] • Location:[8]

  • We were able to get from it to the airport in less than 5 minutes.
  • The staff was polite, but incompetent.

“When we arrived at the Days Inn, we had just finished driving two hours. We were checked in quickly and quietly (without so much of a word from the host.) The room was accommodating, but shook a little every time a plane flew directly over us. When we went to the restaurant to eat (after we searched the entire city for someplace to eat besides McDonald's) we found it to be in the process of being renovated, which may have explained the single server, who had better things to do than serve the food. Check-out was a breeze, and despite having to pay for the airport shuttle they use as a selling point, the stay was adequate and worth the rate .”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[3] • Location:[8]

  • The public areas were very up to date and attractive.
  • It took over 1 1/2 hour to get towels at the pool. No ice bucket or ice in the machine.

“This hotel appears to be an older hotel where they have spent money on keeping the public areas updated and attractive. The rooms were remodeled, but appeared to be cheaply done. Service was very slow or non existent. It took over 1 1/2 hour and 4 phone calls to get towels at the pool. Our room had no ice bucket or iron. I called for an ice bucket and never received one. When I went to the ice machine with a glass, the machine was either out of order or empty. At check out, they never asked how my stay was. They didn't appear to care. This hotel is nice compared to some of the other hotels in the airport area, but doesn't hold a candle to any of the higher caliber hotels.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[7] • Location:[7]

  • I was surprised to get free wireless internet and a continental breakfast included in the price! Good value for money.
  • Smoking in the public area at the breakfast space. This is not acceptable.

“It is convenient. I would have liked to have a map how to get to the airport from this hotel, since the person at reception tried to explain, but forgot that the route he explained was for official vehicles only.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[7] • Location:[7]

  • The continental breakfast.
  • The rooms were small and unattractive. We heard every airplane it seemed. The sound proofing was not good.

“For the money I spent I was not impressed. For a few dollars more I have stayed at courtyard where I was not able to hear planes flying in and out of Detroit metro airport. This was not the romantic place I had hoped for. The windows were exposed at the edges because the curtains did not extend far enough across, therefore, light was constantly shinning in and I was not confident that someone was not peering through our window. ”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[8] • Location:[10]

  • Very convent, and offered an airport shuttle.
  • Located in a neighborhood that is not real safe.

“My stay was excellent, it was a very smart and convent choice. The ease and helpfulness of the staff, also parking for my family was great.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[6] • Location:[10]

  • Location.
  • Nothing really.

“Someone else got the room I suppose to get but receptionist did not explain to me very well. I hope I will not be charged twice and other persons fees... Other than that, it is just a hotel I will stay for business trip for convenient location.”
