“There was no hot water for a shower. The rooms needed to be updated. Would not stay here again.”

• There was somebody else in my room, was put in a terrible room after.

“From when I got there the service was unfriendly and the room I was put in had people inside it already, then they put me on the first floor in some terrible room. I was crying being alone in Detroit after a missed connection flight and was so disappointed.”

• Bed was comfortable, hotel shuttle was reliable.
• The pool was closed down for maintenance!

“Location is excellent for those having early flights out of Metro Detroit Airport. Bed was comfortable, other basic necessities were present. We were disappointed that there was no pool, as that was a big consideration for our staying there, but we understand it must be maintained.”

“I loved it here! I had many birthday parties here and they never seemed to mind. They were very nice. I love how much there is to do and everything was lots of fun!”

• Very clean, beautiful lobby scenario, public computer access and family friendly.
• It would be nice to have a more extensive complimentary breakfast and in room internet via TV accessibility.

“I enjoyed my stay it was very pleasant overall and the 24 hour internet use was convenient for my studies.”

• Room dirty, big pool of water on floor & bathroom poorly laid out. Swimming pool dirty.

“I would not stay at this hotel again. The staff was not that friendly. We arrived early and were told that we would have to wait until 3pm to check in. This would have been fine except the room we waited for was dirty. There was a dirty wash rag hanging on the shower curtain and trash on the floor. There was a pool of water on the bathroom floor and hair all over the bathroom door. The towel rack in the bathroom hangs directly in front of your view of the bathroom mirror. The swimming pool was disgusting.”

• I like the location.
• I did not like the fact that the had so many kids in the pool area with out supervision.

“I did not enjoy my stay there at all. The hallways did not have heat. I had to put a towel at the base of the door to block out the cold from hallway. The pool was like ice and the hot tub was not hot. They had too many kids there with out adult supervision (pool area). Will not go back there.”

• The price is ok, and location is close airport with free wireless in room, it is convenient for business people.
• The staffs were bad attitude always both of in front desk and shuttle bus.

“There are too many room with no clear instruction, I spent 10 min to find my room.”

• No effort to say they were sorry for no double beds.

“Staff was extremely slow, gave me a key that didn't work for my room. They made no effort to try and help me. Just were very rude and said we have been booked for four weeks. I ended up getting a lumpy rollaway and they charged me $15. ”

• Near the airport - van to airport.
• Absolutely filthy - very old.

“While the hotel is convenient to the airport, it is old and one of the filthiest hotels I have stayed in in a long time. The room was cleaner than the hallway, but it was obvious that the floors had been vacuumed (and not recently) only in the center of the room. I actually pulled the mattress back expecting to see bedbugs (I didn't see any.) There is only one elevator and it was on the other side of the hotel from our room so we had to drag our luggage all the way across the hotel twice. This was rated the same as a Hilton Garden Inn (2.5 stars) and I would not give it one star.”

• Nice staff, great atmosphere, clean, just plain nice.
• Not close to many eating places.

“This was a very nice hotel for the price. The staff was very helpful with printed directions to many places in the Detroit area. Close to the airport and a roomy parking lot”

• Hotel had activities for older kids to do. Pool tables, pool and arcade.
• Rooms are old, equipment is old, hallways are old.

“Hotel is good for cheap overnight no thrills stay. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the hotel to stay at. If you are looking for a place to sleep and leave for thing in the morning, then this hotel works well for that.”

• Close to airport with shuttle bus.
• Noise from indoor pool use reaches many rooms.

“Conveniently located near the Detroit airport. The street it is located on is kind of hard to find. Facilities and staff were very good. Good continental breakfast with hot bar upgrade available at reasonable cost.”

• I really can not say anything good about this hotel other than the housekeeping staff was friendly.
• The rooms are old and dirty, the air conditioning is in need of repair. The floor was wet most of the time.

“This is definitely not a 3 star hotel like I was told. Best Western falls under the 2 star category, but this one I would rate a 1 because it is so old. Lobby is newly remodeled but that is it.”

• Lobby and restaurant was pleasant and clean. Staff was professional.
• No negative comments come to mind.

“Hotel looks to have recent renovation in lobby area and restaurant. Carpets in hall ways seem worn but adequately cleaned. Rooms were on par with what I would expect from a 2.5 star rating. Hotel is very acceptable for business traveler.”
