• Room was clean, bathroom was also clean. I loved the chair with an ottoman.
• When other people opened and shut their door, the picture which was on the wall in my room was shaking and almost fell down.

“I stayed the hotel to leave early to go to the DTW airport. I enjoyed the stay because the room and bathroom were clean. I also loved the bed and chair. I enjoyed TV channels, too. However, I could hear all sounds which were made by other people in other rooms. I will make a reservation again if I need, but I will not make a reservation more than two nights.”

• Staff friendly, tried to solve our problems.
• Bathroom had not been cleaned from previous guest, room entry door frame bent could see into room from hall wake up call did not work, very noisy.

“This appeared to be a cheap cut rate hotel that offered rooms for to walk-ins. Our room had a dirty bath, a bent door frame that barley latched and you could see inside the room from hallway. The wakeup phone system accepted our request for a 4:30a.m. Call yet did not ring till 5:30a.m and then continued to ring every half hour, till we unplugged it. Children ran in the halls and slammed doors till 2a.m.had a good breakfast bar, bed was comfortable, AC/heater worked well. Good TV.”

• Had a bible and hard boiled eggs were great at breakfast?
• No Christian TV stations, no sci-fi channel unable to get clear picture on fox news.

“Nice staff and large clean rooms, quiet heating unit all are positive for a hotel. Without any Christian TV channels and with no fox news channel it was boring at night. I am in the area a lot but will go back to my original hotel where I could watch the shows I enjoy. It gets real boring on the road at night in a hotel without the things one is used to. I think the hotel chain is missing this; they may get a few extra bucks from the porn channels but those of us on the road a lot like things that remind us of home.”

• Bed was very uncomfortable.

“The hotel was hard to find being off the main road we couldn't find the street sign at first. Check in was efficient and desk clerk was very helpful. The room looked okay and seemed clean. The bedspread looked newer and we liked the colors but the bed was very uncomfortable. The walls were thin and we could hear sound from the rooms around us. The airport shuttle runs 24 hours and was prompt. Even at the early hour we left, they did have fresh coffee. Overall, okay for one night but would not stay longer than that.”

• The location and shuttle to the airport is excellent.
• The cleanliness is poor.

“Excellent value for the location, 1/2 the price of a typical airport hotel with large beds and decent TV. The bathroom had mildew and hair unfortunately.”

• Good location for Detroit metropolitan airport.
• Misleading ad, said "free parking". I took this to mean free for duration of flight. Of course overnight parking is free.

“Other than the misleading ad, it was a good hotel. I have stayed in an area hotel that had free parking for the flight duration. I couldn't which motel and thought this ad meant free parking while out of the area.”

• The rooms were extremely clean and bright. Extremely inviting.
• There was a new employee who couldn't figure out how to program my key. I went back and forth to my room twice before I got in.

“It was a very nice experience. Other than a new associate who had some "check in" challenges, it was letter perfect. Even with the problems of programming my key; everyone was extremely professional and attentive. Very nice impressions were made.”

• Close to the airport.
• Paving work at entrance that marred our car and tires.

“Hotel staff was friendly, and room was satisfactory; however, we had to relocate because of an air conditioning malfunction in the first room. The second room, which was supposed to have internet reception, did not have the equipment and the coffee pot was not clean. I simply did not use the coffee pot because there was a continental breakfast offered at the hotel.”

• It was right off of highway.
• Didn't like the fact that the rear entrance was always open even late at night. not exactly a high security scenario.

“This hotel fits the general description of what I look for. It was clean,secure (enough, with helpful staff located in a decent or better area. Baymont made the grade.”
