• Older, outdated facility.

“Conveniently located in the heart of Farmington Hills, close to restaurants, shops, and area businesses. The rooms are fairly clean but somewhat outdated. The exercise facilities are just adequate. I did not try the restaurant.”

• My kids loved going to the pool and I liked the Jacuzzi in the bathrooms.
• The internet service was down so I could not get online.

• Convenient to highway.
• No restaurant in hotel for dinner.

“Very good overall, would stay there again. The front desk says it is cheaper that way. Loved the downstairs room it had a jetted tub, this was downfall of upstairs room, no jetted tub. Would recommend to friends.”

• The Jacuzzi bathtub and king size bed.
• Only 1 entrance on busy street, hard to get in and out.

“We enjoyed this hotel very much. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The in room Jacuzzi was a nice surprise. And the pool was great.”

• I liked that there was a jetted tub and I never expected that.
• Nothing comes to mind.

“I was very pleased with my stay. I loved the huge shower with jetted tub. And the room was great, it had a pull out sofa, desk area, wet bar and a comfortable bed. The front desk people were helpful and nice. I would definitely stay at the Courtyard Marriott again and again.”

• Spacious floor plan with walkways overlooking the lobby made for some fun "people watching" time.
• Requested a blanket from the front desk and it never arrived.

“Clean, comfortable and convenient. While not as heavily perked as some of the other hotels in the Marriott family, the Courtyard Farmington manages to impress guests with its spacious lobby, large pool & spa and its attractive rooms. I saw several gatherings during my stay, so it's obviously not merely for business travelers.”

• Jacuzzi in bathroom, huge cozy bed!
• Hotel handyman working, right outside our window till dark.

“This hotel was spotless! My only complaint is that there was a handyman working right outside our window till it got dark (9 oclock or so! He even aimed his vehicle right at our window and turned his lights on to complete his work.”

• Front desk employees were friendly and helpful. The fitness center is the best I've experienced, numerous equipment options as well as TV.
• Check out was 12 pm, however, housekeeping attempted to enter room as early as 8:30 and 2 other times before noon, I felt rushed.

“Our overall experience was good. This place has many amenities from indoor pool and spa to complete fitness area. They also have a in-house snack store for patrons convenience. They are a bit overpriced though. I would suggest that housekeeping limit going to rooms where the front desk has not been notified of a check out. We arrived back to the hotel at 2 am after a concert and then housekeeping attempted to enter the room at 8:30 am it was not pleasant. The only thing that kept them from coming in was the security bar I had fastened after entering the room.”

• Great customer services and very comfortable rooms for the money.
• Parking is a mess.

“We chose to stay at this hotel because of my child gymnastics meet, even though it was fairly distant from the location where the meet was held when compared to other choices in the area. The rate we got was unbeatable and it is 100% smoke-free, making the decision a no brainer. The hotel location was excellent, close to restaurants, shops, etc. plus close to the interstate. The main parking area felt like a maze and if you're coming into the hotel with little ones, please hold on to them because cars come from every direction at unbelievable speeds. There's actually additional parking area to the back of the hotel, but coming in from that side of the building seem a bit risky because is very isolated and faces the interstate. They could do a better job about cleaning and salting the entrance to the hotel in the winter 'it was dangerously slippery. Other than that, the experience of entering the main lobby was pretty nice' it actually felt like a higher star rating hotel, except it is fairly small hotel lobby. Reception personnel are excellent, paying attention to every detail and very helpful. Rooms have a very good layout for a 2.5 star hotel, very comfortable and nicely decorated and because it is Marriott I wasn't expecting anything less. Free high-speed internet is included and speed was not bad. There are vending and ice machines on the floor but they also offer what they call a market, located in the lobby area, and it has every item you may think you need from snacks to microwavable food. The hotel also offers continental and buffet breakfast at fairly moderate prices. The fresh food selection was excellent, with a variety of continental items and cereals I wasn't expecting. The personnel are very attentive and friendly.”
