• Very clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed/room.
• It was very disappointed. The fitness center was closed for renovation. The television and movie pay per view was very pricey, Between $12-$14.

“Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Location is near shopping and restaurants. I would stay there again.”

• Location was excellent. Convenience to our business made it a great.
• 8 pm arrival did not have our rooms ready. We went to dinner and came back and still not room.

“We liked the hotel. The location is outstanding for our business purposes. Our help at the front desk was very good with John taking care of our problem.”

• When I got there, I was booked for a king bed & they got me a room with two double beds.
• They did not offer a continental breakfast.

“This hotel was quiet, comfortable & had all the amenities that I was looking for. In my short stay there I was very satisfied.”

• Clean, great location, great staff members, comfortable.
• Was a bit uncomfortable having sliding glass doors on a first floor room.

“It was clean and comfortable. It is located in a nice area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a small mall attached to the hotel, so you do not have to leave to go shopping! It was also very quiet. Would definitely recommend this hotel to other people. It was a perfect fit for my needs.”

• Parking lot was hard to get to.

“Overall a very good hotel. Clean updated rooms, lobby was spacious, and staff was friendly. Typical Marriott restaurant, a bit on the expensive side and the food could have been better.”

• Would have like a night club with a jazz band.

• Very comfortable bed, nice décor and clean.
• Charged 30 dollars extra because of using debit rather than credit card to be refunded within 10 days provided no movies, damage, etc.

• Convenient access from expressway.
• Took 2 minutes to get hot water flowing.

“The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the hotel was easily accessible from expressways. It is directly connected to a nice shopping mall which was very convenient.”

• The beds are extremely comfortable.
• I didn't see any vending machines - maybe just didn't notice them.

“This is a comfortable hotel that is attached to a smaller mall (Laurel Park Place). It's convenient to I96 and I275. We have made this our base when visiting Ann Arbor and Detroit (Joe Louis Arena). The beds are comfortable, there's in-room coffee, and the bathroom amenities smell wonderful. It has an upscale look. There are also meeting/ballrooms on site for weddings or seminars.”

• The room set up and furniture and the bed was awesome in comfort.
• Some of the lobby furniture and rugs were very worn.

“Very comfortable and very convenient to Downtown, shopping and highway access. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on.”

• Remodeling the restaurant and lounge area; very noisy.

“Very nice hotel in process of remodeling the hotel lobby, restaurant, and lounge area. A little noisy during the day, but did not affect sleeping at night.”

• Great rooms, flat screen televisions, very clean.
• Small bathrooms.

“Great location attached to Laurel Park Place Mall. The hotel was very clean and front desk staff helpful. Rooms were large, beds comfortable and had oversized flat screen televisions. Did not use pool, but looked very well maintained. Great stay!”

• Room was beautiful, well appointed, great bed, deluxe HD television.
• Internet/email connection $10/day and they failed to make up my room, and no bathroom fan.

“This was a beautiful hotel; our room was quite nice with a great bed and a big-screen HD television. Only negatives: This probably would be a great option for a business traveler, but for leisure travelers just looking to check email, it was a big turn-off.”
