• The price and location were okay.
• Further from downtown than expected.

“Overall, the hotel was fine. The staff was friendly, the room clean and near enough to downtown to walk. I would like to have stayed closer into town, but the location was away from any downtown traffic. One of the staff even offered us towels to dry off our bikes after the night rain, so we could ride home in style! Thanks.”

• Room had fridge, microwave, iron, hairdryer, and was clean.
• Motel was not within walking distance of Gatlinburg attractions.

• It was nice, quite, and clean, My wife loved the Jacuzzi.
• The tissue roller kept falling out.

• Nice big room, very clean. Jacuzzi tub was nice, and the fireplace. I liked that it was a little out of the way of the main drag.
• I really can't think of anything I didn't like.

“I thought the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had no problems. It was quiet, and I liked that they had plentiful vending machines, which you don't often see in a motel. It is a little far from the main part of Downtown Gatlinburg, but we still easily walked into town, not having to find and pay for parking. Overall, a very good experience!”

• It was quite and not too bad.
• The night shift staff. She was rude.

“Overall it was a great hotel. Could have been closer to town but other then that it was good. The lady at the front desk when we got there was nice and friendly. But the lady that worked the night shift was rude when I asked for more towels and blankets.”

• I liked the in room Jacuzzi and the location.
• The bed spread had a hole in it and there was no microwave in the room.

“The hotel is what it is. It is an economical hotel. I enjoyed my stay but there were a few things lacking. The main light bulb was blown and the linens were old. The shower did not fully work and the room could use a microwave. The Jacuzzi was nice and the king size bed was comfortable. The pool area was in need of repair.”

• The receptionist was friendly.
• Sickening smell of bug spray and no ventilation. Complaining did no good.

“Would not recommend. Complaints went unheard until the final night which I finally got another room. No one ever apologized for the god awful and very sickening bug spray smell. There was no ventilation and tried unsuccessfully to get moved twice to deaf ears. Had to leave door wide open most of the time over it until on my 3rd and final day got moved. No one ever said they were sorry or anything. Very unhappy customer here!”

• It was too far from downtown.

“This hotel is very clean. We stayed in a smoking room which wasn't what I really wanted. But in all I have stayed at a lot worse hotels before so this one was pretty good.”

• The location allowed for us to walk to downtown without being in the hustle and bustle.
• The showerhead was about 4 feet off the ground and uncomfortable for people of average height or taller.

“Definitely a one star, the location of this hotel is a few minutes walk from Gatlinburg's main drag. Moderate cleanliness. Continental breakfast needed to be refilled.”

• Very clean, great staff, super location. Very nice room.
• Lack of a public transportation into town. Had to walk into town.

“My motel 8 stay was a great experience. Staff at this location was very professional. I would recommend this motel to anyone. Very pleasant stay. I would give it 4 stars.”

• Easy to get out to the car, quick walk to town.
• Bathroom is a little cramped (toilet & tub area).

“This hotel was fine for a family looking for a moderately priced place to stay. Nothing fancy but was clean and they provided a continental breakfast which saved us some $ in the morning. The staff was friendly.”

• It was close to town.
• The bed was hard as a rock and we didn't have a pool or Jacuzzi.

“Being that the hotel was close to town dose not change the fact that the bed was hard as a rock and we did not get to us the pool or Jacuzzi. In fact the hotel made use so mad that we left a day early to come home because of the bed pool and etc. They told me that if I wanted my money back for the day I left early I would have to contact the company I rent the room from. If you could please responded back thank you.”
