“This was about the worst hotel I have stayed in. The beds were low and swayed, hole in the wall, stained carpets, a general lack of repair. The door had obviously been kicked at some point and was bent. I listed a few items to the front desk for repair and I got a blank stair with the comment, 'Sorry have a nice day'.”

“This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. The carpet was filthy, the bathtub caulking was molded, black spots on the bathroom white tile, ants were in the dressing area, the dressing area overhead light kept going off/on. I would not walk on the carpet barefooted.”

“The room was dirty and worn. The tub was black in the bottom and the room walls and door had not been wiped in years. The carpet was wet and had God know what type of stains on it. The actual floor space in the bath was 2 x 2. There were holes in the walls and the beds were sitting almost on the floor. One day the maids did not even bother to show up. I would never stay here again.”

“Staff very unfriendly while checking in. Nobody even in the lobby and had too wait about ten minutes for attendant to finish data entry. Then once checked in, there was an awful smell in the elevator (strong mold smell). In the hallway leading to the room the carpet had Hugh stains all over. Once inside the room, there were no pillow cases on the pillows. Returning to the front desk, the lady informed me she did not know if she had any in the front desk area. She came back with 2 cases and I told her we had 3 pillows. She said she was the only one on third shift and would have to check housekeeping which meant going somewhere else.”

“I would not recommend this hotel to a homeless person! It was disgusting, the pool they talk about was dirty, and one was empty! There were stains on the towels, the sheets didn't appear clean, the mattresses were stained with what looked like blood, the carpet was coming up in several different places the ceiling looked like it was about to cave in. It was the worse stay I have ever had in Gatlinburg!”

“This hotel is terrible and I will never stay there again. Our room was nasty. Baseboard coming apart everywhere, wallpaper coming off walls. Carpet so nasty you could not walk on it. Everything you touched was dirty and needed paint. Moldy smell in room. Water in shower scalding one minute, freezing next minute. Tile missing on bathroom floor. Continental breakfast a joke. Overall appearance on exterior was horrible.”

“Ok place to stay. The rooms need cleaned up a lot and redone. The pool area was a mess. They failed to clean room daily. Stains on carpet, peeling wallpaper and stains on ceiling.”

“Staff was rude. The front desk lady was yelling to get her point across. Hotel was filthy and I couldn't wait to get out of there. It really seemed as if they never cleaned the rooms. This was the most dirty Days Inn I've seen. Stay away from this hotel like the plague. Shame on Days Inn!”

“Upon arriving at this hotel, which was at the far end of the Gatlinburg strip, away from the attractions, the appearance was less than we expected of a Days Inn. The check-in was terrible; staff always smelled of cigarette smoke when we utilized their services (which we avoided as much as possible). Worst of all, the facility - elevator, hallways and room - smelled very musty, like it hasn't undergone a good cleaning in over a year! The facility was dirty overall; including holes in the towels and water than ran brown from the tub (we didn't take a shower that night). DEFINITELY will not return to this hotel.”

“These people where rude, second shift manager, and the third shift clerk. The morning clerk, 10/31 was real helpful and found us some coffee; she had to walk to the end of the hallway, but did that for us without a rude comment. Did call and complain and the people I talked too stated they were sorry but couldn't do anything about it.”

“It is old and needs to be refurbished. They do not pay attention to how many guest you check in with therefore not giving you enough towels or supplies. The rooms are large but feel dirty, the bathroom small with the sink in the living area. This is bad when you travel with teenage boys. Never replenished the coffee supplies. I paid the same price in stone mint gad for a great hotel room at the holiday express on a Saturday night. The room in ten should have been much cheaper.”

“Without doubt this is the worst run, dirtiest, most poorly maintained motel that I've had the opportunity to visit. In fact all of the Days Inns during this trip were terrible.”

“The experience we had said to stay away from Days Inn. Pathetic customer service, awful cleanliness of the 2 rooms that we were put in, and complete discomfort of who had access to our room, since they left our room door open for about 10 hours after fixing their leaking toilet in the 2nd room.”

“As we checked in asked if we got an AAA discount and they said no. remote didn't work, ice machine was in lobby, long ways to walk, and lights were burned out. we had a handicap room, shower didn't have any place to put soap or shampoo.”
