“This Hotel has real issues. I see it is about to become a Crown Plaza with a major redecorating planned. So perhaps that is why it has been let go. I would recommend waiting until the work is done. I had a much better experience at a Best Western. Not recommended.”

“Don't pay the valet directly! Hairs all over in the shower. Desperately in need of updating, staff was friendly though.”

“I feel the hotel is getting old and should not score 3 stars for the everyday traveler. Not sure what the suites are like but our room had mold in the bathroom, and the heat was stuck on high hot. Had to request another room. I could only control the heat in the room and even the second room was hot. Disappointed as I feel the hotel is not up to wyndham quality.”

“Checked in and found room to be 85 deg ask to be moved, mgr was to call me back, mgr did not call back in 70 min, went to front desk he was sitting and talking, he said he forgot. Moved to better room, didn't say sorry or anything. No free internet. No free parking. Not a good bang for buck compared to other stays that I have every week. I stay at other hotels 50-60 nights a year, for less money, and have had allot better stays with free parking, free internet, and better heat and cool control at the rooms.”

“Breakfast prices were kind of high we thought, but the staff there treated us very well. We never called down to complain about the people partying all night. We just hate complaining and our phone in our room was not working. The shuttle service there was reacting very friendly and knowledgeable of the things to do in the area.”

“Excellent hotel for the price. Room was plenty big, with a cute country decor. TV was not a newer model but worked fine. Desk chairs are wonderful. Room was clean and comfortable. Carpet and wallpaper show a little wear.”

“Nice location downtown. The room was large and mostly comfortable. The beds were a little old but they tried to help things with nice pillows. The televisions did not match up with what you would expect from a Wyndham. Although I was not there to watch television it really grabs your attention when you walk into the room, I laughed out loud. They seem out of place. Overall for the money it was great.”

“Did not like the fact that you were charged $9.95 per day for internet. Most hotels I have stayed in with 2 stars above have included free internet. I will not stay here again for this simple fact.”

“As far as downtown hotels go, the Wyndham Toledo is sub-par. pros: comfortable bed. Cons: 1. Furniture old and outdated, fingerprints on wood furniture.2. Shower head was covered with lime/hard water build up. It worked fine, but was unsightly. 3. Mold in shower and caulk was peeling away from tiles in shower.3. Very small television - 19 inch TV. Most hotels provide larger televisions and entertainment centers.”

“Overall I was disappointed with the room and service. When we arrived it took forever to check in. Then we wanted to eat the dining was closed. When we went to the vending machines they were either broke and took our money or not working. So we couldn't even get a drink. When we returned from seeing our show we wanted room service it was suppose to be opened until midnight but after no answer we called the front desk and was told that they left early because of no calls. The clerk laughed and gave us a pizza delivery number. However we don't like pizza and went to bed hungry. Overall I was disappointed, I thought we would get better attention.”

“Hotel was not really worth more than I paid for it. I've stayed in worse, though. Valet parking was too expensive so we had to park in a garage until the weekend when street parking was free. The TV was old and everything looked green. The beds were not that comfortable either. But the price was right so Iżm not unhappy.”

“Like most of the rust belt of Ohio, this hotel tries to be nice, but likely doesn't have the resources to become a nice hotel. The rooms and public spaces appear dated. While the rooms were clean and the staff friendly, this is not as nice of a hotel as one would hope. The view of the river and downtown location are nice. Parking is not included in the room price, and can add significantly to the cost of staying there. Next time, I would prefer a different hotel.”

“It was a very nice hotel overall. Hotel and rooms were clean. Lobby was nicely dressed for Christmas. They offer valet parking, or you can simply park across the street in a garage for $6 and use the connecting tunnel. Hotel lounge was kind of small, but offer a larger restaurant seating area. Not a bad park of Toledo, about two blocks away from convention center and lots of dining options. Staff was courteous and helpful. They also offered a free shuttle to the convention center if you're not up to walking; either beats fighting convention center traffic jam.”

“The hotel staff was great and the shuttle services were a great extra. The view of the Huron river was great. We also could hear the TV and conversation from the room next to us which was quite a distraction. Otherwise, we would definitely return!”
