• The air conditioner worked well.
• Very outdated, worn out mattresses, run down bathroom, and a bright red flashing sign outside the window all night.

“This hotel needs extensive renovations. I do feel they should offer a better deal due to that fact.”

• It was not crowded.
• It was old and nasty.

“This hotel looked like a Jim crow throwback motel. Staff was nice; facilities were dirty and not kept clean. Room was mediocre clean. No breakfast as advertised. Barbed wire on the pool area was weird. For the cheap ass price I paid, it was about to be expected. I have stayed in worse places, but this one ranks down there.”

“The hotel was old and very dirty. It looked like there has been no up keep of the hotel. It was so bad we didn't even stay. We checked out 5 minutes after we got there and paid for a different clean hotel.”

• Breakfast available but was not told about it, so missed out, pool, microwave, fridge.
• Very dirty, cigarette butts, bottles, paper, smells all over, especially pool area and fountain and walkways.

“OK because cheap overnight stay, rooms basically clean but common areas dirty. Staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent location.”

• It was located in the middle of everything.
• It did not have HBO.

“I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was clean and I liked having the microwave and fridge in the room. The pool was nice and I liked that they offer a baby pool.”

• Everything was absolutely horrible.

“It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Room was not clean and it is stinking. I guess they put the towels without washing. During the reservation, they did not even ask for smoking or not, then I got smoking room. Even though I asked non smoking room, which was available for sure, they did not make the arrangement.”

• It was in need of repairs.

“The hotel was not that bad. It was in need of repairs. You could not turn the hot water off in the bathtub, so the bathroom was really hot and the sound of running water was annoying.”

• I liked that it was on the main drag in Pigeon Forge.
• The beds felt like concrete & the hallways really dirty.

“While it met the star rating it was not what we expected for Howard Johnson. The beds were hard the carpet in the hallways had trash & dirt piled in it. The staff was friendly enough & the maids did pick up the room nicely. It is located on the main frag & therefore convenient to attractions, but the sign to find it was hard to see until you were practically on it. The pool was nice & available but the ice machine was not appealing looking, I thought twice before actually using the ice from them.”

• Cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful.
• Curtains were broke and wouldn't stay closed, wall paper was bubbled on the walls, and the balcony was cracked both top and bottom.

“Staff was friendly, but they need to do some work in the rooms. Parking lot is hard to get to if you are crossing the highway. But the air conditioning works very well, water pressure good, plenty of hot water, and small coffee pot. Refrigerator works great.”

• I didn't like anything about this hotel; it was Nasty, old, run down. I would never stay there again.

“My review of this hotel is terrible. It was nasty, old, run down! I was very dissatisfied! I have a baby and a 9 year old. I didn't even want them to walk on the nasty carpet or lay on the beds! The wall paper was falling off the wall. There was water damage. Dead bugs on the floor. Big stains on the Mattresses. I asked for a Crib for my baby. They brought me a play pen. I would not even rate this place!”

“Looks like the walls are peeling away from water leakage or damage. The room didn't have a very good smell & the bathroom shower didn't look very clean. The carpet could use a good cleaning too. When we checked in the clerk didn't greet us nicely & she wasn't very friendly. I probably won't be staying there again. This place need some major renovation!”

• Dirty and poorly taken care of.

“Lots of problems with this hotel. Parking lot is not structured to allow for ease of traffic flow at full capacity. Floors in rooms had odd solid "lumps" under the carpet. Center of shower head popped out mid-shower. Stairwell was very dirty. Mattresses were dirty and badly stained. Air conditioner sounded like a big diesel truck when cooling turned on. I would definitely recommend finding somewhere else to stay. Plenty of accommodations in this area, so no need to settle for dirty hotel rooms. If you are looking for a cheap place just to sleep, it may be satisfactory, but if your stay will be longer than one night, you should go elsewhere.”

“The staff here was very friendly and nice. The rooms needed many repairs. Tile coming off walls in bathtub. Carpet lumpy. No wireless Internet. Light bulbs 2 burned out.”

• No variety of breakfast food refill when food gone not provided.
