• The staff was very nice.
• They changed my room to be next to the elevator.

“The hotel was great. I had trouble checking in, so the front desk arranged a room for me which was next to the elevator which rang all night. Other than that it was a breeze.”

• I enjoyed the hotel, I took along my Xbox and someone came to the room and set the system up, that was wonderful. Thanks again.
• I can not say anything wrong about this hotel; it was close to my family and the Downtown area of Ypsilanti.

“If you are looking for a first class hotel to stay during your trip to the Ypsilanti area this hotel is top of the list, I will be back this summer.”

• We liked the comfortable bed and the abundance of pillows.
• We would have preferred our room to be on the side of the hotel that has the beautiful view.

• The hotel had wonderful customer service.
• The restaurant was extremely over priced for the type of food and drinks received.

“Stay at hotel was wonderful. However, don't recommend eating at in house restaurant or having drinks at lounge. Our tab for 2 drinks each, a bowl of French onion soup each and a plate of crab cakes and chicken quesadilla's was almost 70.00. Not including the tip. But other than that everything was wonderful.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The dining room where we tried to have breakfast was too hot and sunny.

“The hotel was great but the dining room needs to have blinds against the sun. Otherwise, everything was perfect!”

• Good value for the money. Very clean. An excellent choice when visiting UM.
• We were awakened by noise from the next room--TV and voices.

“Nice, clean hotel. Very convenient to Ann Arbor and right off 94. Staff very friendly. Appreciated free access to PC and Internet in lobby. Complimentary coffee in the lobby would be a nice addition.”

• Limited TV channels, expensive Wi-Fi.

“Located on a quiet road away from the noise of the highway is this hotel is on beautifully landscaped grounds. Upon entering you are greeted by friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. Settle in for an enjoyable stay.”

• I was fortunate to receive a newly renovated room on the 7th floor. The room was great, the guests were friendly, and the staff was accommodating.
• Certain tuck pointing concerns, but hey, I'm not buying the place.

• Excellent overall experience - friendly, beautiful hotel, great staff, and location was convenient too.
• Concierge Lounge closed whole weekend so could not use.

“Fantastic ambience - beautiful open spaces, friendly staff - extremely helpful and approachable, great location to Freeway to both Ann Arbor and Detroit, great rooms. Only complaint was I was on concierge level but lounge was closed from Friday noon to Monday am so I could not use the facilities.”

• There is not anything I did not like about this hotel.

• The mattresses are so comfy.
• Housekeeping hadn't cleaned my room by 5:00 and I had to call.

“A nice quality hotel off the beaten path in Ann Arbor MI. A plus is that many of the athletic teams coming in to play much stay here, so the chance you might see an athlete or two roaming the hallways is good.”

“Everything was wonderful. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very courteous, friendly, and seemed to care about us as individuals, not just as customers. They even brought us a bottle of champagne, free of charge, to congratulate us on our engagement. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay, and we would absolutely stay there again. Highly recommended!”

• The customer service was absolutely amazing.
• It was far from the city center (Ann Arbor) that I requested.

“I wished I could've stayed longer to explore the pool and restaurant, but the hotel was beautiful. The staff was helpful beyond expectation. Within one hour of arrival, the service desk had fulfilled three of my requests with grace and pleasure. The decor is warm and inviting and the beds made me want to stay the entire weekend. Highly recommended!”

• The bed was excellent, I didn't was to get up.
• The decorating was very 70's. The pool area had old rolled up carpet laying in the hall-gross!

“For just having been remodeled it was defiantly lacking in the looks department, ugly greens and yellows, very 70's era. The room was clean, bed was great! But the bathrooms were small. And the old carpet roll was just plain gross! Staff was great. Cost $6.00 for one scoop of vanilla ice cream and it took 20 min. Defiantly not 3-4 stars!”

• Maid in hall cut loose with profanity at 8AM.

“This is a great hotel on a lake. Lobby and rooms are very nice. Gym had good treadmills but barely any weight equipment so that was my big drawback.”
