• The hotel is close to the Downtown cultural exhibits.
• Very dirty!

“The hotel is in bad need of renovation. Our hotel door looked as if it had been jimmied open at some point. The bedspread had dark stains. We didn't see any river views. Our room felt dirty and after taking our shoes off, and walking around on the carpet in our white socks, they were no longer white! We thought there was no hot water but it just took 30 min for the water to heat up. No microwave in room, as advertised. Nothing in room to hang clothes on. The 'night club' advertised doesn't begin to HOP until 3AM, when you're usually asleep. There was a big gap under our door letting the cold air in it was in the 30's outside. So the room heater ran constantly. It was not a pleasant stay. Other hotels in the area are comparable in price, and they could not be any worse. We stayed at the Riverview because it was close to where we had to be, in Macon. We would not stay there again!”
