• Bathrooms were dirty, bathtub drains very slow, mold in bathtubs.

“I would not stay in this hotel, housekeeping poor and plumbing drains bad on 2nd and 3rd floor.”

• Front desk clerk was unfriendly and unaccommodating.

“Hotel was nice and clean. Front desk clerk was abrasive. Not well suited to work with the public in my opinion.”

• The room was clean and comfortable.

“I enjoyed my stay at Laquinta in Macon, Georgia. This is the 3rd year in a row that we've stayed there for a particular convention held in Macon. It is almost definite that we will return next year. It is in close proximity to our convention, located near the interstate, located near restaurants, clean, comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful.”

• The continental breakfast was top notch.
• The walls were too thin. We heard everything going on around us.

“This was great for an overnight stay. The walls seemed very thin and we didn't sleep too well. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.”

• Staff was friendly and pool area was nice, rooms were more than I expected.
• Power outage due to the Tornado in the area.

“This hotel was actually pretty nice. If it had not been for the Tornado in the area that caused a few power outages in the hotel, it would have been much better.”

• The cleanliness and location.
• The evening desk clerk was not at friendly, wasn't acknowledge at all during his shift.

“That was attractive and clean. Breakfast was fulfilling. Very convenient location.”

• Proximity to I-75, and ease of registration.
• Had a 1" palmetto (?) bug on the wall, but no real problem, did not report.

“I'm sure if we had reported the bug they would have attended to it, this might be a problem for some visitors, so we should have mentioned it to them. I just gathered it up and flushed it.”

• Nice room, friendly staff, good breakfast and my daughter liked the pool and hot tub.
• The room did not have a microwave and fridge.

• Friendly staff, nice breakfast.

“I had asked for a King sized bed. I got one, but they failed to tell me that it was in a handicapped room. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was very nice. After we left I realized that I had left my 2 personal pillows. I called the hotel back & told them that I would pick up the pillows the following weekend. When I arrived, they had the pillows for me in a bag with my name on it. I was very glad to get them back. I will recommend this chain to others.”

• The staff were friendly.
• We were placed in a smoking room with two queen beds. La Quinta does not allow for any room changes.

“Good hotel, but La Quinta does not allow you to switch rooms (king from two queens or non-smoking from smoking) even when they have those rooms available. In effect, you are placed in their worst rooms.”

• Quiet, accommodating, friendly, beautiful, good location.
• No TV. channel guide.

“Enjoyed the comfort and convenience provided. It is well maintained and the staff was polite and very helpful. Continental breakfast provided a variety of food and everything was very organized and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return to this hotel when we are next in the area.”

• Some equipment in workout room was in need of repair.

• The free breakfast, it helps with traveling expenses when there is 1 less meal to buy.
• An in room refrigerator/microwave would have been nice for drinks and leftovers from our meals out.

“I used this hotel while I was visiting my son for the holidays. This hotel was clean, and nicely decorated for the Christmas holiday. Breakfast was hot and plentiful, but not available long enough (I prefer to sleep in when I'm on vacation), so an in room fridge/microwave would have been a nice feature for drinks and snacks. Especially since there wasn't much open on Christmas day. Overall I had a great experience. I will most likely stay there again when I come to town.”

• Clean, modern, safe & very nice decor.
• Water was not very hot one morning, but not ice cold.

“I was very surprised that this hotel only has a 2 star rating. It is very modern, is decorated very nice and was very clean. I felt safe in the area we were in. I would say at least a 3 star.”

• The staff was friendly.
• Our heat didn't work the first night and it was freezing. Had to move to different room with working heat.

“This La Quinta Inn was easy to get to with a great steak restaurant "Logan's" within walking distance. Oprah's crew was eating there when we had dinner. Overall, clean with friendly staff.”
