• The front desk staff and housekeeping all were great!
• Hot tub broke down the last two nights of our stay.

“The hot tub broke down the final two nights we stayed on. We were given free breakfast buffet meals for the following morning. The staff noticed we played games and met friends in the lobby and even offered us additional games since we were visiting from out of state. The front desk and the night man both were the best people you could ever meet. The manager stopped and visited with us while we were playing in the lobby and offered us anything she could get us and even offered our guests free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The breakfasts were fabulous and cooked to order plus a buffet.”

• Loved the warm water in the pool, makes all the difference when young children want to spend a lot of time in there!

“It was reasonable for the price. Not anything luxurious, but reasonably clean, safe, and quiet. Hard to put a price on the value of not-freezing-cold pool water, too!”

• Better than staying in Flint where we originally intended to stay.
• Not much of a selection for workout equipment.

• Close to the airport we were flying out of.
• Wait staff at the cafe was not rude and very slow to serve us.

“The hotel was clean and well kept. The rooms were modern and comfortable. Pool was great, the kids loved it. A great hotel for business travel, or to stay close to the airport in which we flew out from.”

• The hotel staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.
• The pool was broken and there was no continental breakfast.

“The hotel has a very elegant feeling about it. The rooms are nice and clean. I would have loved warmer covers on the bed. I was very disappointed that the pool was unavailable and that they don't offer a free continental breakfast.”

• Central location & easy to find, good value for rate paid, excellent non-smoking facility.
• Booked king bedded room but had to take double bedded room, minor problem.

“Hotel very satisfactory with friendly staff. Typical of most places we have stayed was in need of minor repairs especially to lamps. Good, quiet AC unit. A little noisy with slamming doors until after midnight. We would stay again if in area.”

• Location and cleanliness.
• Receptionists were unhelpful and treated us poorly.

“We are a family of four. The hotel was not full. She could have shown some sympathy and courtesy. In all fairness, she did give us breakfast vouchers, but that was not what we wanted. The room was a non-smoking one, but definitely smelt of smoke. We were too tired to ask her for anything more after the first encounter.”

“For the cost of this hotel it is an excellent choice. We checked in early upon our arrival and had a late check out. They were very accommodating.”

• It was very clean and the staff was very friendly.
• They did not offer any complimentary breakfast food.

“Every one was friendly and very helpful. Everywhere I went appeared neat and clean. Our only disappointment with the stay was they did not offer a complimentary breakfast of any kind. We were in town for a baseball tournament and the day of checkout we had a game scheduled for 8:00am. We did not have time to stay for the breakfast (served by the restaurant) and I wanted something for my son instead of fast food. But all in all I think it was an excellent experience.”

• Nothing, it fully met my expectations.

“I got everything I expected of a Marriot Hotel and more. The staff was probably the most friendly hotel staff I've dealt with. They were very accommodating and understanding being that I had a 1 year old and 3 year old with me. My room was cleaned every day. We had new towels each day and didn't have to scrounge around for dry ones. The room gave us enough space to move around without being on top of each other. In addition, the decor of the room was very modern and fresh. The pool and hot tub area was well maintained and well placed at the hotel. I definitely would book again here.”

• Friendly staff with a good location that I would return to.
• Lots of guests from the neighboring hotel coming to use the pool. The hotel nest door was under renovations and everyone who came to this hotel wanted.

“Off the highway, not far from all locations. Easy getting around. I would stay here for both leisure and pleasure.”

“The room itself was just fine. But, I was horrified to find a supposedly clean water glass in the bathroom with what looked like ashes in the bottom! Beyond that, the room was very clean. The staff was great. Don't bother with the breakfast buffet, though”

• Clean carpet, bedding seemed new than others I have been in.
• I would like to have this rate for everywhere I go. I just want a place that is clean, safe.

“They were very nice. Room was either new or just very clean feeling even the carpet, bath area, chairs, bedding and bed. These are what I find most important in my traveling. ”
