• Cheap that's it.
• It seemed refurbished on the cheap whether it was cheap or not it seemed so.

“Cheap, one floor units like a nightmare from my youth when I traveled with my parents. Rooms were cold, character less, distant, and cloudy. Service was brisk and while not unfriendly, was not warm or endearing. I felt I was sort of bothering them by staying there. Desk guy was kind of friendly in an off hand way. Beds were comfortable but appeared to of the "let's go to the auction and buy 1100 mattresses and use them" variety. Telephone was from a holiday inn (it was stamped on the body of the phone) and all the fixtures had that well used and tired feelings that makes travel so tiring. All this economy showed up in the price and I am grateful for that, but it was a cold and distant experience.”

• Reception staff was nice.
• Needs better mint.

“I tried to extend my stay for the second night but was unable to do so thought it phone # provided by reception staff. Was given second night by reception staff at discount rate. Then discovered shower not working next morning. Move to other room (120) and heater was not working, bed and everything were ice cold until we got heater working. Not a good stay. I was hoping my stay/surrounding would be as good as the Howard Johnson my previous employer is using.”

• It was close to the highway.
• The bathroom was terrible with a toilet that moved when you sat on it.

“It appeared to be going through a renovation, as there were piles of furniture, mattresses and other things stacked in front of rooms.”
