• Great location for UT games, and nightlife is walking distance.
• Overall, a nice place, but nothing special about it- dated.

“Had a pleasant stay, very friendly staff, easy to get in and out of- had a billing question which was resolved quickly and in a friendly manner. Location is the best in town!”

• It was convenient to the locations I needed to be at, while staying here.
• The pillow cover was dirty. The foot stool was dirty. The ceiling had dirty spots on it. The shower head was broke, but I fixed it.

• Upon check in we were informed the pool was closed.

“Location was great. Upon check in we were informed the pool was closed. This was an amenity we were really looking forward to after camping for 4 days! It was July! How could their pool be closed?”

• Downtown location.
• Hotel was not well maintained, i.e. toilet paper holder was falling off the wall.

“Nice Downtown location, but should have been warned about fitness room being closed for repair. Paying for parking was not told while check-in. Room service was out of the food we wanted to order. The pool was very nice, but loud. Not a 3.5 star hotel.”

• The employees were extremely friendly. The bell staff was very helpful and informative about the Knoxville area.

• The hotel bed was very comfy.
• Guest shouldn't pay for parking. I would rather pay a higher price for the room.

“We were very pleased with this hotel. It was very close to down town, but not noisy. We were walking distance from many quaint shops and a short drive to everything else.”

• Staff was friendly and they didn't charge a parking fee.
• Room was furnished with OLD stuff, bed looked worn out, wallpaper peeling.

“I was surprised at the bed mattress looked worn out and the room didn't smell good, wallpaper needed replacing, furniture was definitely OLD looking. Staff was friendly.”

• Located with convention center. Nice view.
• $5.00 a day for parking.

“Nice 1980's style hotel. The shower was the strongest I've seen in years. Nice view of World's Fair Park and Sun Sphere. $5.00 a day for parking is kind of rude.”

• Convenient location, could walk to theater, restaurants, park.
• The bed was uncomfortable; hard as a rock, and I like firm mattresses.

“A bit noisy, but nothing unmanageable. Overall a decent value for the money, helpful staff.”

• Location to downtown and the University of TN.

“Easy access to walking into downtown and the campus of the University of Tennessee. Staff was very helpful. I returned for a second night on my return trip through Tennessee.”

• Uncomfortable bed & bedding stained & ripped carpet, extremely noisy, overall shabby.

“This hotel is in a good location. Unfortunately, it is not worth the price. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, as were the pillows and bedding, making it difficult to fall and stay asleep. The walls are also very thin you can hear everything people are saying in the next room, as well as, in the hall (also making it difficult to sleep). The amenities were not fully stocked in the bathroom. In general, the room was simply shabby very undeserving of a four star rating.”
