“We would never stay in a place like this. The place was almost deserted during our entire stay and no wonder. It is a 1* at best. We paid almost retail so there was absolutely no benefit. There are tons of newer and nicer places nearby and they had plenty of business.”

“There was mold all over the rooms of this hotel. The health department should shut it down.”

“This particular Quality Inn was very convenient to I-75 and very easy to find. Did have a decent continental breakfast but by the time we arrived at 9:30 (it closed at 10:00) they were out of a lot of things including plates.”

“This hotel was seriously over priced for what it was. The woman at the front desk even questioned why we were staying there. She said it was old and that they were trying to refurbish it little by little, but by the room we stayed in there was no sight of their efforts. I told her we didn't mind as long as it was clean - all she said was 'right'. Once in our room I would not let my family use the shower/tub or touch anything besides the bed sheets.”

“The hotel was very disappointing. A very mediocre room that smelled of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was cramped and the plumbing inadequate. The hotel breakfast consisted of starch and more starch. You had to pay for ice from the ice machine.”

“This place is in need of serious renovation. The bedspreads were ripped, cigarette burns in the comforter, rooms smelled bad (including non smoking room we switched into the 2nd night). I would not recommend this unless you are a chain smoker and don't mind the smell.”

“The hotel was in an excellent location. The room was clean. The fan on the heater squealed and kept me awake most of the night. Next time I go back to that area, which is often, I will look for a different hotel where I can get a better nights sleep.”

“the first room we checked into the a/c did not work and the room smelled like an ashtray. The second room the a/c was very poor and you could hardly feel it if you were more then 3 feet from the unit. This was not a pleasant place to stay and we will not return to this location.”

“I was disappointed with the room. We were first given a smoking room (we're nonsmokers). The comforter had cigarette burns all over it. The room smelled moldy. It was in a bad location. I would never recommend that anyone stay in this hotel. We paid $60 for a night, and it was definitely not worth it.”

“To stay in three-star hotels in Chicago suburbs and St. Pete, Florida - beautiful, clean, comfortable rooms for $45-65. This hotel in Knoxville was not even a one-star for $55 - old, smelly, small double beds. You do nothing to enhance your reputation offering a place like this Quality Inn in Knoxville.”
