• I liked the Neutrogena soaps and shampoos.
• I did not like having to go into town. I would have preferred it being just off the freeway.

“I loved everything about the hotel. The room was very comfortable and inviting. I usually carry my own soap and shampoo - for ecological reasons. However, I used the Neutrogena soaps and shampoos provided by the hotel. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of choices. I also like have a cordless phone in my room. This is the first time I have stayed in a hotel that provided this feature.”

• The friendly staff and location and general good quality of the hotel.
• It should have been cleaner and breakfast ending at 9 was a challenge since we worked late into the night.

“This hotel is right in the middle of town which is handy to the places I needed to work. I was disappointed though in the cleanliness since it was supposedly a 3 star hotel. The dust around the edges of the room was quite pronounced and a large insect appeared under the desk while we were there. Im not use to that in a supposedly 3 star hotel. I don't like the high fees and taxes as add-ons versus the price I receive. That doesn't make sense. I almost didn't go with it. Only did because I was in such a hurry.”

• Nice room, uncommonly spacious, comfortable beds!
• Limited hours for fitness facilities.

“This is a half-step above the Quality Inn - Days Inn level. The room was very spacious, was furnished well, and had very comfortable beds, which were welcome after a long day's drive. The only downers were that the "indoor heated pool" as listed on the hotel's website is actually only a large hot tub. Our 6-year old was very disappointed. And the hot tub and (small) fitness room didn't open until 10 a.m. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay and will look for more Wingates in the future.”

• The hotel was in walking distance to several clubs.
• There were no restaurants or pools at the facility.

“The hotel was ok for a business traveler who didn't want to order room service or use the pool facilities. This is not a great place for the leisure traveler. I was very disappointed.”
