• It had a bed.
• Mold in bathroom room is humid air not working chemical smell.

“We first got to this hotel; we thought it would be okay. The first room they put us in had no air, mold in the bathtub, the bathtub drained so slowly that you were standing in a foot of water after the shower. There was a strong chemical smell in the room which gave both of us headaches and made my husband sick. We quickly got showers and ran to see my son, got back; the air still was not working. Called the front desk, asked for a different room, they gave us one but when we went to go there we saw very shady characters hanging out in the back of the motel. We went to the other room, it was better but still no air, had to open the window to cool off. We went to leave the next day and saw we were looking over the swimming pool that had not been used in years and had paint peeling not covered and about 3 inches of dirty water at the bottom of the pool. Then we noticed some kind of pipeline that was covered in foil going from one building to the next. Very shotty work from someone. The sidewalk was crumbling also. The people that ran the place could hardly speak English and when they were talking to each other they would talk in their language and it seemed really rude. I was not expecting the best but we should have checked out motel 6. I forgot there was one in that area.”

• Broken bathroom fixtures and running water in tub.

“Handy location with lots of eating places in area. Friendly staff but a paucity of vending machines. Poor maintenance of bathroom fixtures.”

• It had beds.
• The staff and cleanliness.

“The outside was not kept up, needed weeding etc. The check in boy was out having a smoke and his friends had to go get him. In the morning the check out girl was in a chair trying to take a nap. I would not go back to this hotel.”

• Late night crowds at hotel bar were disruptive.

• Close to where I needed to be.

“Clean room, no pool in operation was disappointing to our young children and us. English is the language of the U.S.A. This hotel should hire employees that know that and can speak it plainly.”

• We loved the beautiful entryway, chandelier and staircases were attractive.
• It was difficult for us to find. Map quest did not have the correct location directions.

“Located near the interstate, attractions and a large variety of restaurants. Easy check-in.”

• Location.
• Ice machine broken, 2 days to clean hair from tub, no tissues for 3 days.

“This hotel was clearly in transition. While staff were friendly, my requests for cleaning someone else's hair out of the tub went two days with no response, and no tissues in the room for 3 days after asking. Ice machine was broken at my end of the building with no repair. Would not stay here again.”

• Right location, right price for our needs at that time.
• Bathroom was not clean - found used soap in shower.

“Easy to find. Staff courteous and helpful. Room was what we expected for the low price. Only downfall was cleanliness.”

• It was clean and a comfortable bed!
• Needs some touchups, wall paper & paint.

“It was very clean and the staff was top rate! The beds were comfortable, the sheets were clean. The air conditioning worked well. The hotel needs some updating. The wall paper was peeling; the paint needs to be touched up. The continental breakfast was supposed to be served from 7-10 and was none existent by 8. It was a good clean room for the money, though!”

• Extremely helpful staff. Check-in was a breeze and the room was nice! Thanks.
• Room was a little cool even with turning the heat up.

“Very much worth the money spent on this room. As mentioned before the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and the room was nice. Overall a very good experience.”

• The lobby was nice.
• It smelled bad & the room wasn't very clean.

“I was put into a room that was already in use. My 2nd room wasn't very clean and there was mold on the mattress. I would never return to this motel. The desk clerk wouldn't do anything to compensate me. He stated that only the manager could do anything about it. I would of been happy was clean upgrade. I would never stay here again.”

• Running down.

“This may be a 2 stars hotel at one time. But currently it seems to be going downhill fast. It is located at the deadened of a street full of hotels and restaurants but it was 95% empty while the others were doing much better the night I stayed. The room is not clean and seems to be lack of repair and maintenance. When I arrived, I thought I was at the wrong place because the road led me into the side of the hotel and it seems abandoned. I even worry about the security of my stay. I was very disappointed. ”

• Creepy, hotel clerk and another guy hung out in room next to us.

“This hotel was loud as we were given a room on the expressway side of the hotel. There was only 1 other guest on a Thursday niter in the entire hotel which probably had over 100 rooms. Why couldn't they give us a room on the other side? The hotel clerk hung out in an adjoining room which made my wife suspicious. It was 60 degrees in the room even though I set the thermostat at 80 degrees. Apparently the switch that said air conditioning was simply the fan to blow the heat. Needless to say we were cold.”

• This hotel was like something out of a horror movie, it was absolutely discussing at best.

“I would never stay here again even if they paid me there where roaches in the room it was a non smoking room and it reeked of smoke the heating duct was falling down from the ceiling, the shower curtain was like an old sheet. I don¿t see how this good be rated a 2 star motel. ”

“We checked out immediately after seeing the condition of the room. Stayed at a red roof next door that was 10 times better. I hated to eat the money but I could never have spent the night in such a horrible place.”

• Close to "restaurant row".
• This place needs some air freshener & a complete overhaul; no restaurant or bar on premises. What made this a 2 star?

“Decor is from the late seventies. Not much heating/cooling control as thermostat on wall is from original construction. In the sixties! Not a 2 star hotel. Bar and restaurant on site haven't been open for a while. Rooms stunk. Location close to restaurants is good, but overall location is a ways from downtown. ”
