• The beds were very comfortable.
• The room seemed empty and lacking furniture.

“The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The rooms were a little small, including the very limited counter space in the bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable though! It also seemed like our room was maybe missing a chair because one of the corners was really empty. Overall it was a nice hotel for our little 1-night stay.”

• Very clean, recently remodeled.
• Heater did not work well, room was too hot.

“We were given a room directly over the front entrance and just above a noisy street. For a weekend when nothing in town was happening, we could have been given a more comfortable room. In fact, I blame myself for not asking for another room. Also, the heater did not work correctly and it took a long time to cool a very hot, stuffy room (albeit in February). The Friday night staff was somewhat aloof and appeared fatigued. The Sunday morning staff who checked me out were very nice and helpful. The pool area was nice. The room service prices were outrageous (overly more than one might typically expect).”

“The hotel room was like a sauna - the heat couldn't be turned off - it was awful. Other people in other rooms complained as well - the staff told them they could bring them a fan? How about fixing the heat /air so it could be adjusted?”

• I did not like the parking arrangements.

• Restaurant menu choices were minimal.

“Great for business or as a romantic getaway! Comfortable room with beautiful decor. Warm cookies upon arrival are a nice touch.”

• The bed and linens were wonderful.
• The room was not nearly as clean as I expected out of a 3-star hotel.

“Overall an acceptable hotel, but not at the price level that they charge. It seems like the housekeeping and maintenance staff is not as conscientious as they should be.”

• Poor heating ability, non friendly staff.

“Valet parking only choice, room was absolutely freezing upon arrival took 1 hour to warm and front desk staff did not care. Heater did not work and hotel in old building that was poor insulated. No close by dining, cone stores, etc.”

• It was clean and comfortable.
• The hot tub didn't work and they charge for parking.

“Everything was just fine, except that the staff made a few confusing mistakes forgetting my credit card info (didn't charge me as much as a result) and putting noisy people right next to us in an otherwise empty hotel. Plus the hot tub didn't work.”

• Newly renovated, updated modern decor.
• Inconsistent cleaning, poor windows.

“High winds kept us awake due to poor windows. Some of the renovations appear hurried and shoddy. Cleaning appeared inconsistent. Otherwise nice.”

• It was in convenient location.
• The soup was awful and the room service prices incorrect.

“I ordered room service, which was a $5 minimum so I order soup ($3.50) and kids burger$5) and when the bill came it was almost $20! Plus the soup was unappetizing and greasy. They also did not make up my room on the second day, although they completed that task when I got to my room at 7 p.m.”

• The location was good.
• It was dirty.

“There were 7 floors in this hotel and the ice machines on 6 of the 7 floors did not work. There were signs directing you to floors with working ice machines only to find signs on that floor directing you to another. It was like a treasure hunt. The shower filled up mid way up your calf in the course of a shower. It took about an hour to drain after each shower. The comforter on the bed had a foreign substance on it and was clear it had not been washed between guests. The whirlpool was out of order. The treadmills were only partially functional. The bar didn't have the ingredients to make a cosmopolitan. The waitress in the restaurant had a cold and was blowing her nose frequently and not washing her hands. We had to walk out of the restaurant.”
