• The location was close to the mall/shopping.
• Old.

“The first room they placed us in had a malfunctioning toilet. Both rooms were old, had outdated fixtures, and was in disrepair. I do not think this hotel could be classed as 2 star and in fact was not nearly has nice as most hotels in the same chain I've stayed in.”

• Friendly excellent staff.
• The room was outdated, not very clean, the floor was coming up.

“This hotel is very basic, the rooms are outdated. It had a very hard bed, and a couple of flat pillows. The mini kitchen was useful. I thought it would be the same standard as a Comfort inn, but certainly wasn't. I won't be going back. Saying that the staff couldn't do enough for you, so nice and friendly. Very good price, which made up for the rest!”

• The employee working in the office.
• Only 1 bed in the room. Ring in the toilet bowl.

“I was not at all pleased with my room/hotel. There was only one queen size bed and my husband and I were traveling with two children. I had to pay extra to upgrade to a room with a pull out sofa. My original room had a moldy toilet and the phones did not work at all the night that I was there.”

• Filthy, bad odor, moldy, dirty bathroom, carpet was nasty; bed was broken and tilted to one side.

“My room was the worst I've ever stayed in. I cannot believe they would have such filth and a broken bed in a room they are renting.”

• Not up to what I'd call a star hotel at all, let alone a 2 star.

“While this hotel was okay, I a.m. puzzled by the 2 star rating. What merits a star at all? The bottom of the tub was dirty; wall paper was torn in the bathroom; there was a musty smell throughout the hallways. While it was decent to some degree and in a safe area of town, and the staff were more than accommodating. I just do not see the "2 star" rating. The room looked really worn or well lived in. You could tell there had been a lot of guests who had stayed there. Now, granted, when you go to a hotel, you know that, yes, but usually there is a feeling of freshness about the room (at least I would think at a hotel that merited 2 stars). With a 2 star rating for this hotel, I'd be frightened to see a 1 star hotel if the star ratings are based on the same criteria.”

• It appeared older than it looked on the surface and seemed to have a musty smoke smell in areas.

“This hotel is not glamorous by any means, but it served the need as a place to stay. We felt safe and our room was clean. In some areas of the hotel, you could smell old cigarette smoke, but our room was not stinky. The staff does not come to clean the rooms unless you've been there for 7 days, so we had to request new towels. Overall, if you are looking for a place to sleep, this is a good hotel. If you want some romance, look elsewhere, because you won't find it at the "Extended Stay".”

• Small kitchen within room.
• Seemed to be an old apt. complex and seemed older and smelled of smoke, old building.

“The building was old and seemed like they just threw wallpaper up in the bathroom to call it good. The rooms smelled like smoke even though mine was a non-smoking room. People who came to visit asked if I took up smoking suddenly. It's tucked away and hard to find for driving and not real great for walking distance to restaurants because you have to cross a major street with no crosswalks very near so it would be hard for families who wanted to walk find food.”
