• Clean room and rapid check-in.
• No microwave and security door was broken and open to all.

“This place was clean and the bed was fine. I did not like the mini pillows, even though there were plenty of them. Although there was a fridge, the lack of a microwave was irritating. The security door was also broken and anyone could enter the back door at any time. Otherwise I slept OK and got out in the morning with hot coffee in hand.”

• Very clean, service staff was friendly.
• I just wish it had a better breakfast selection.

“This hotel was very clean, the service staff was so friendly, and the rooms were well equipped. I am so happy to say this but the last time we stay at a hotel it was at the Hyatt, the experience was horrible, never again will I say at a Hyatt. Comfort Inn exceeded the Hyatt a 4 star hotel, will room again at any Comfort Inn, if it is like the one in Oakridge.”

• Great flat-screen TV. Nice breakfast. Great internet connection. Friendly, helpful staff.
• They were replacing the tile in the elevator. Minor inconvenience.

• I stayed before and knew what to expect. Great place.
• Just a lot of construction on building. Expected that to.

• Easy to see form road and places to eat very close.
• All was ok, just remodeling and construction around.

“You were in the middle of remodeling and construction was going on. Just a little noisy, but I expected it. I will stay there again when in town.”

• Friendly staff, rooms were very comfortable.

“This is a great hotel for business travelers and for family travel. It is situated right on the main strip in Oak Ridge, very close to shopping center and surrounded by many restaurants.”

• Nice continental breakfast.
• Room wasn't vacuumed daily. One day with no room cleaning at all.

“Nice location for our purposes. We liked the access to the fitness club down the road. The final day when we didn't get our room made up or trash emptied they mentioned that I could come down to the front desk if I needed towels. Overall with the price we received we are happy and would stay again at the same price.”

• Continental breakfast was good.
• The first room we were assigned was very dusty all over.

“Needs remodeling: carpets were worn out, TV remote was antiquated, the main door leading to the lobby needs refinishing. Does not meet the two star rating.”

“My mom died and the staff was rude. Told me the hotel was full and they could not provide me with a non smoking double bed. This was the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel in my life.”

• We inadvertently got a smoking room, my fault, and the desk clerk was extremely helpful to get us a no smoking room.
• We did not experience anything that we did not like.

“It was clean enough. The desk clerk went out of her way to help us. It was quiet. We had a great stay for the price.”

• The beds were excellent and comfortable.
• Burnt out bulb in reading lamp. Ironing board and iron not satisfactory.

“This hotel was a definite value for our family. The room was satisfactory and the beds were excellent. We only encountered minor problems as stated above in question number 14. Check in and check out was swift and the continental breakfast was sufficient. We were very pleased with our two night stay.”

• Room staff lacking (Maids).

“I was booked for a smoking room which I did not request! After much discussion I was given none smoking adjoining rooms as requested. Much thanks goes to the hotel manager who demonstrated great customer service after much discussion!”

• The toilet wasn't fastened tightly to the floor!

• Convenient to where I was going.
• Floors dirty and broken recliner in room, breakfast bar was not the best.

“The hotel was not the best; it was very convenient to my location. The floors were dirty, has a broken recliner in the room, did not report it to staff you could see it was broken so I thought the staff would report it. The breakfast bar was not set up very good. Not attractive at all.”
